Stephan Harper wants to make Wire Taps and Email spoofing and whole 9 yards legal, so Id just like to say its cool if you guys want to have a little extra security. If your a Triad they already have your grow im sorry. If your in a Biker Gang your weed sucks sorry. If you own a gun and not a bullet proof vest your a moron. If you think Daniel Craig is James Bond your wrong he isn't Sean Connery and Michael Ignatieff looks like Timothy Dalton.

END GANG VIOLENCE. GROW MORE POT!

Now for a serious question :) So this TOR works pretty well you say, would there be any record from your ISP of any of the sites you visited on there account just in case of a federal investigation, If laws change in Canada in regards to privacy I might just want to start using it imagine that. :yoinks: but right now im just kinda curious.

The way I see, using tor, your isp still logs everything. Theres no way around that.

But tor will protect you from anyone sniffing ip's incoming to icmag. Am I right? Please correct me if i'm wrong.

The only safest way is to drive around looking for free wireless miles away...

I find it real stupid to use your neighbors, its practically the same thing as your home.

I just tested out that Tor and it slows down the connection to a crawl, though the bundle did come with this nifty portable firefox for flash drives, and using that at internet cafes and whatnot for stuff that you dont want ending up on someone elses computer worked like a charm. My firewall alerts me and blocks anybody trying to hack me or just any security breaches in general, I monitor all my traffic. Im always Trojan/Spyware free. Tor will keep you invisible, but whats the point in being invisible if nobody is trying to attack you in anyway. Id never have anyone fix my computer other then myself.. dont ever take your computer into a store to get fixed, those guys will get everything youve ever deleted on you computer and probably wont hesitate to turn it in.

I always have TOR running but how do I check if its actually working?

Because my IP seems to always be the same.
