I boost the PK values,,,starting at an extra 2ml per gallon at 3 weeks bloom,,,and continue to increase to 5ml per gallon at the end...based on age, I run my PPM's at 800-1400...but that would be critical depending on strain/acclamation/soil PH/PPM readings....you have to find your own sweet spot based on heath/responsive of elements.

I just hit 6 weeks and I am thinking of using one table to test the KoolBloom powder, to be honest I am kind of weary of it because I've heard people have had problems from it, guess just start off slow like half tsp per 4gals or something - but I have a bag of it so going to gov it a shot I ll let ya know if there is any comparison between the two tables -

I use Promix BX with Jack's Bloom Booster. Usually mix my Pro-Mix with Happy Frog in a 50/50 blend. Was having problems with fungus gnats, so I went to straight Pro-Mix. Plant's seem to be liking it just fine.

I use 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of Jack's per gallon. A 4 lb. tub I bought over a year ago is still going strong. I will more than likely get at least 2 more grows out of it, before it's gone. $24.99 sure goes a long ways, lol.

A couple questions please :)

1)Are you a hybrid or pure synthetic grower ?
2)Do you find the high Nitrogen levels of Jacks(10%), hinder or slow down the buds growth ?

Thanks :tiphat:

I'm a hybrid grower right now, lol. Lately I have been using a dry amendment fert in combo with the Jack's. It's working really well from what I can see.

I don't really get the Nitrogen question. The plants need some N in flower. I get bud set and the same bud development rate if not better then when I was using Advance Nutrients hydro based feed.

I'm not questioning your method or success, just what style you were using :)

Generally hybrid & organic can utilize the additional N thru microbes consumption, but a high N content in pure synthetic will definitely slow the buds down. The plants demand for N has dropped, due to veg/growth/formation of plants & bud has ceased,,,at that point she demands higher P & K values.

Most of the GH line is much lower in N than Jacks, NPK number of 2-grow, 5-micro...so far less than Jack Bloom. So I may pick some up on Amazon and do a test run on a small batch, see what happens.
