frosty nugs are a must but the genetics are great to start with i did little more than water and wait
im starting to think Super-G is one of the MOST tasty buds i have ever smoked - i gotto grow a big bush of it as soon as i can.. the smell is fruity, acidic and sweet - but with a heavy vomit like acidic over-tone that comes in after the initial first sniffs.. the high is similar to a white widow of the classic kind.
also i think LDS is a really good allday smoke - im mixing it with belladonna x SH to smoke during work - and even if i get a bit spaced out - im still very functional although im so stoned i dont even remember where i am hehe
both the LLDS and the BD x SH have a more or less indica like high - but both have a quite interesting uplifting efect - that might be a bit heavier if let mature properly (damn mites!!) the flavours of both are quite fruity and sweet - that kind of bud that u get a smile smoking - just for the flavour
the cascadias, mozambique and the Johny deep still have a while more to go - i think the cascadias and the JD are going to be ready more or less for this weekend or middle of next week - but the mozambique has a good while more to go - its good its got nice branches with hard calyxes and airy buds - in a while more it will fill up a bit more - although its a pure sativa and its not a dense nugged strain.. but very resinous

I am glad you are having great results with the Super-G. The "G" BTW stands for Gold, because of the 2 versions of Santa Marta Gold that went into her. I just love the super lemony flavor I get from her. I wish I had run a few more for this years smoke. But, she will have to wait until next fall. I am almost out of beans that I can give away.

Congrats boney on the fun you're having at this. I've never done anything as fun and personally rewarding as growing. I've had vegetable gardens for 30 years and really had lost my love for growing. The excitement had long ago left. I quit drinking alcohol (personal decision after drinking close to a liter of rum a day for years) two years ago this month and started this. Best move I ever made.
I feel ya on the just watering and waiting. Feels like we're cheating a little by using coco and a recirc system doesn't it, lol. Once ya get your res where ya know it belongs, it feels like you're just tagging along for the ride.
Maybe not quite that easy. Compared with all the excitement some of the soil growers have, I'm beginning to feel a little cheated.

Boney, you ever grown out SAGE??? Just ordered some from Dr C. I think I'm going to run some of Ace's Nepalese Jam and maybe SAGE right behind these 3 F-13's and 1 Foxtail Sativa. That'll give me half a tray to work with while the Kali Most are finishing up. Jeez, I'm lookin at the last week in December and the first two weeks in January before those 3 beasts are done.

Need some advice, if you or somebody else would be so kind. I'm 12 days out from harvest on the F-13s and I'm going to reveg all three of em till I cure and smoke the bud. Knowing that I'm going to save the three, when should I start the flush? Right now, I've got 50/50 clear and cloudy trichomes. No amber.
My plan is to start the flush in 5 days and flush the last week. I just want the plants to have enough left in them to come back. I've really got nothing but my gut telling me to limit the flush. If these were only for yield, I'd flush for two weeks. I tasted one of the stems and got a really clear and clean taste to it. I've kept the whole grow a little on the hungry side.

Looks like Paris is gettin a little, huh. Good thing she's rich, she'd hate being poor and that ugly.
F-13s are a real pleasure to grow. Beautiful plants that don't seem to mind if you under feed or over feed a little bit. They are definitely not nute sensitive. Did I mention they're gorgeous plants, hehe. I haven't smoked it yet but I'm sure it's gonna be nice. They're about 11 days now from harvest if they come in on day 61 like a couple of other growers have reported. I'm counting on it any way cause I'm going to start the flush a week in advance.
I'm growing 3 plants and all three are different. The tallest is the one that's going to yield the most. She's got purple leaves and the calyxes are turning on her. The middle one hasn't turned yet and I don't know if she will. Her yield is going to be about 2/3 of what the first one is. The third is almost bare when compared to the other two. Her center cola is one bud big, lol. The lower buds are bigger than the upper ones. She's so ugly, she's beautiful. She's basically a stick with branches. I'd have tossed her but I'm thinking anything that holds back on quantity with those kinds of genes is bound to make up for it in potency, lmfao. At least that's what I'm telling myself. Seriously, I could work with potency, do a cross or two to increase yield - or not. If the third one is kickass in potency and not in yield, I'll just clone and do a SOG grow with her.

and i got a nug of JD in front of me for later life is good
my hand is still hurting hehe
think im going to harvest the remaining cascadias very soon - maybe wait for a little bit more orange trich's - but its alrigth at the moment too

OK, the F-13 is very nice. I smoked a couple of the little popcorn buds at the bottom of the plant. I don't know why everybody hates them so much. I like em cause you can get a pretty good idea what the smoke's gonna be like by smokin em and you don't feel guilty about trimming them off a little at a time for these... so called test smokes...
These are 11 days short and I only gave them a two day dry. Because they were light to begin with, they were burnable. First thing that hit me was the lemon taste. Really strong and lemony. Nice and sweet and lemon flavored. Not like lemonade - more like two parts Stoli lemon and one part Grand Marnier. Or old fashioned lemon drops. Anyway, I like it - a lot.
The high is nice and relaxed but alert - if that makes any sense. I smoke a lot and have a tolerance issue I try to keep at bay by alternating what I smoke a little bit but I really was kind of expecting it to hit a lot harder than what it has. - OK, I just hit the bong again. And the lemon, but it's not lemon drops - it's a sharper lemon taste but finishes sweet and kind of leaves me wondering what I've just tasted and ... OK, if you've ever had a true margarita, like you get in Mexico, it's that sharp a lemon taste and I can almost taste the triple sec - and that would not be the Grand Marnier I tasted but rot gut triple sec in a no nonsense margarita. Nailed it for me.
The trichomes were 40% clear, 55% cloudy, and 5% amber. I'm thinking it should have slapped my shit in the face, but it hasn't.
I'm rambling - so it's doing what nature intended.
