WoW bone!
looks like Spiderwoman or something...jejejej!!
It seems that the Destroyer male genes combined with the sativa ones of the mother..I don´t see any indica in her.I reconmend that you give her less hours of light
raco hehe the spiderwoman pheno hehe yeah it would be ideal with lowering the light hours. the rpoblem is i got a whole bunch of other plants flowering with it and i dont want to affect the yield of them. im cutting the N very heavilly now - soon it should stop and finish off
definetly no indica in this - as far as i can see atleast hehe true sativa monster
holy - hehe yeah she has spread out well hehe - its good though the open sativa structure makes no shadow almost on the lower plants
after doing some extensive research i have found out the natural winter light hours (finish of flowering cycle) for thailand is around 11 and an half hour.
the question is how would shorter days affect the sshxptk and the astrofogs. seems i can not take the risk to affect the harvest.
ill just let it go lower the N bit by bit and see if it finishes off
the tropical flowering rhythm is pretty interesting. although the equator has a all year 12/12, a mountainous area can have shorter days in the valleys. it would be interesting to do some testing with some highland sativa. from threads i've read i would say that 12/12 is pretty good for flowering even sativas, although some swear on 11/13 or even 11.5/12.5. but for the veg phase a pure sativa will do well with 16/8. save the electricity eh?
Great thread Bone. That spider-plant is wild looking. Reminds me of Marksurfs' Dalat grows. Thanks for giving my crosses a spin. I am glad the smoke turned out well. I am going back to the start on this thread, much more fun than working
just had a test spliff of the meao thai x corinto its tasty - the high is nice.. going to see how it gets when it finishes of the flowering - i bet it has a lot more to deliver. hehe
instead of revegging it id rather plant more meao thai hybrids from raco some day (hehe if he has any earlier finishing ones ) its been just about 13 weeks flowering..
the ssh x ptk's i got flowering now look like they are going to get nicer buds than last time dure to the fact im keeping down the number of tops
i transplanted today some old clones of astrofog i have been kind of having on standby.
also i planted 15 seeds - 3 each of 3 of my crosses. gotto see what comes out of them, or if they even germinate also planted 2 crosses made by marijuanaut
3x - CT x PTK
3x - Moz x PTK
3x - Cas mixed hybrids
3x - BD x SH -naut
3x - WW x BD -naut
15x
with the clones of the Super-G and the Cheese-Trainwreck im going to get my hands full for a while - luckilly the temps are on my side - the clones should root very quickly. of those clones i will pick 2-3 clones of each to keep as mums - and the rest will go to some friends - if i dont get time and space to flower them.
all plants put to reveg have reveged, besides the x18/dc and the ptk female - that both just withered away in spite of the usual treatment. nevertheless i will have enough hybrids and crosses to play with for a while it seems though the mozambiquean might reveg this far. i got lots of seeds of it so it doesnt matter too much if this particular pheno goes.
alright - now when i have harvested all of the plants with seeds, i have written down a list of them.
most of them there came only a few seeds of - but still the list got quite long.
last harvest of the ssh x ptk didnt get too good. i let it go too long and it lost the best part of the high - the strong rush that i like so much. next harvest im going to go back to harvest at d 65. i let it go past 70 this time to see what would happen. now i know. less flavour and potency.
the most interesting and impressive of all the phenos was the sleepy pheno of Cascadia.
the bud was over mature and the excessive LST bending and trimming thing -made the nugs small and leafy. normally this one is 100% flavour from the start of the cure to the end of it (that is as far as i have ever been able to keep it curing) btw the flushing of the coco takes away most of the clorophyl so that wasnt the problem really.
