Preserving the Oldtimes

Thats a lot of pollen. Do you find each pollen has a different high, i do, the oh pollen quite nice actually even though i'm massively allergic to it even the sight of it gives me the heebyjeebies.

some nice diversity i hope in the f2s but its all about the high, huge leaves looks like a blueberry or nlhaze, who knows what gives that high but i hope tf i can find it again within the seeds.

i've got a lot of pollen i'm eating it each day along with the sniffing of it to help my allergies.

that's all pollen from one male in that instance but it's very easy to cut arms from many, fill a vase and just wait till most of it drops...

Different high; are you smoking it too? I've also sniffed pollen before to differentiate, more than once, not the sharpest knife in the drawer over here - haha, nice to know I'm not alone.... IME though the male pollen that really tickles the allergies is generally a good sign for potency, at least for me, this is anecdotal observations over a very long time, far from scientific

Maybe it's the Nigerian that makes it trippy.

It does share the taste and smell of old african bush

in general I've found africans to be stimulating, euphoric, speedy, uplifting but not really something I'd call trippy, vs say SE asians, I do think though the perfect combo may be a little bit African with a lot of SE Asian for the perfect trippy, euphoric & non-sedative effects type of high & quality - african plants definitely bring a beautiful musky creamy incensey thing that is adoring

I need to circle back on all my old seeds too but when thankfully the reason you first bought the seeds pops up and it is more than just strain description talk, it is worth another go.

I hope i can find it again and that it is visible to me before a 6 month cure. I think i'll be able to notice the potential immediately.

But if i found the same high again i dunno the first second or third part of how i might begin to fix those traits. Would it be better to use just the f2s and go from there or self any females.

I am tempted to put some posi pollen to any oldtimes females

I smoked some posi leaf the other day and it was very similar to the oldtimes, a bit deeper in quantity, hard to describe the difference, like between mushies and acid.

they both make you trip but one makes you gurn a bit on the way up

I sniff little pinches even though i can feel it now just talking about it, makes my nose screw up.

I eat the male flowers i pick out of the pollen

f2’s all over le map

I don’t claim to know much about em just repro’d and grew some

comparison:

when I repro'd the 4 seeds from the TH Mex seeds I was given by CBF[thanks]
2males and2 female each were similar looking each were shorter chunky and hybrid looking
the f2’s were all over the map like the othaze ones

13 seeds from the nicest Oldtimes female are currently soaking.

All four females were nice but one of the females stoodout and had a smiley feel good rocket ship to the moon and beyond effect. Unfortunately i don't know which one it was and nor do i have any of the mothers revegged anymore, but i do have quite a few seeds

i end up chain smoking all varieties regardless so after a few months of smoking i can get a good idea of the different qualities they have as i assess where i've ended up.

When i first smoked the scissor hash i knew it was something different and above most of what i've tried over the last 30 years but it goes up another level after it's been curing for 6 months.



A really nice smiley trippy high that is quite centred and clear in thought but keeps building over 30 or 40 minutes to an amped up but centred altruistic high that imparts a golden glow to everything.

It is quite easy on the mind. You feel gooood and connected more to nature and the universe. Some wtf moments have been experienced and it gets visually and mentally trippy in larger doses.

I really hope i can find the same buzz in these 13 seeds. The F1s were all quite quick so it will be interesting to see what comes out most in these F2s.

Nigerian, old skunk1 or blueberry genes

The grove bag the smoke came from had everything mixed up from lower trimmings so i dont know the plant it came from but the seeds i noted were nearly half the size of the other ones so i have a start to get back that buzz from these tiny greyish seeds.

Let's hope we find again these ultimate feelings of truth, love, spirituality, bliss and 3blottersworth

your descriptions of the smells and highs are awesome. sounds like a really special line. definitely worth preserving!

14 tiny Oldtimes seeds have been put into compost and there are already signs of germination

They will share a space with a 20 year old Capt. Crip Abusive x Bubba Kush girl.

There will be a Canna lovein with a Posi haze, Oldtimes, Seedsman OHaze and the Abusive Bubba kush.

Here is a little pic of the Abusive Bubba kush gal.

She has quite amazing terps and such great resin coverage like the hazes with huge calyxes I am crossing the hazes to it to see what appears

She is already fat with seeds from Abusive Bubba, Posi and Seedsman haze males.

The Capt. Crip Abusive x Bubba Kush i have previously grown. She has amazing lime, toasted sugarpuffs, matchbox strike strip, coffee and chocolate notes and gives an extremely warm and pleasant high. Although indica, she is fine fine medicine and not a clobber to the mind.

I can't believe the time it took hitting F5 every few minutes to grab these 20 years ago
