Hey ROT, what's up? I just recieved my order from RM and there should have been 12 seeds of the highland Kandahar IBL. The name on the pack only said highland afghani though. So I sent Schipp a pm to see if what I recieved is the IBL. Apparently the Kandahar IBL is one of the parents of the highland afghani F1. I will let you know when I hear back from Schipp.

the same happened to me i recieved my order just over a week ago it had highland afghani written on the pack, highland afi was my second choice, highland kandahar ibl my first. So I sent schipp a pm yesterday and he said they still have some highland kandahar ibl in stock, im hoping the dude who writes on the seed package was just slightly confused with the names. Schipp also said that he thinks they are almost identical anyways......

This is a quote from the Seedsman page - seems to be exactly what's required, IMHO. And it seems to settle the Sensi issue too, no?

Hey Elevator man, I believe that seedsman is incorrect. They do not produce there own seeds, there afghani #1 stock comes from Sensi. Afghani #1 is a hybrid of two very similar afghani cultivars. It is stable, but not landrace. The one thing that is true is that it has no skunk #1 in its make up.

just about every person east of France and west of Guam or north of Australia and south of Artic circle does it the same way....most of Africa, the Middle East, all of India, Pakistan and many in China etc etc.....I'd guess roughly 80% of the World does it this way, then washes their hands afterwards if given the chocie ..why?... because it is far cleaner and more efficient.
Westerners use paper which only cleans most of the crap off at best and the remainder gets smeared on their skin and then they walk around all day with "it" smeared on their ass and have skid marks on their underpants...so who's cleaner?..smearers or those who wash clean?
the best way is use a hose to wash it clean after (or use a bidet) and then pat dry with paper....or use paper if no water is available then have a quick shower.

isn't it ironic....we armed and helped the Afghanis in the 80's...Rambo 111 and all that..they were regarded as the underdogs, the proud strong Freedom Fighters....now they are terrorists and we bomb them.
as late as one hundred years ago Muslims invaded the areas where the remainder of Alexander's soldiers settled long ago and they were forced under sword to convert from being animists to Islam or die
one thing is for sure they have been phucked over and around for hundreds of years by invaders ....and it is still happening today...
an excellent book to rtead about Afghanistan is called " an Unexpected Light : travels in Afghanistan" by Jason Elliot.....it's a wonderful book...and should be a must read for Americans, Brits and Aussies who have it drummed into them that Afghanis are filthy dirty scumbags ..when in fact, the average Afghan has far more honor, respect, spirituality and hospitality than most Westerners ..read the book for an understanding all about Afghanistan today

chamba run that by me again how do ones fingers leave ones a-hole cleaner then paper ? seems like if anything it would add dirt germs to a allready dirty a-hole, isnt that why doctors wash their hands befor they cut u open because the hands them selfs harbor all kinds of bactira , just my 2 cents ill stick with the paper thing , and i find it hard to understand that china would use this method as they put people on tv . if they forget to flush , or wash their hands after going to bathroom . not racist as i hate all equal cept fellow stoners. peace

use a combination of 90% running or pouring water and 10% finger tips (of your left hand) will leave your rear end ten times cleaner than smearing with paper and then of course wash your hands with running water and soap

there are lots of habits, customs or beliefs that seems weird at first.....but when in Rome, do as the Romans do....and this may seem crazy but there are millions out there who worship a naked guy nailed to a cross and there's a whole country that eats fries covered in gallons of mayo...now that's a bit out there isn't it!..but hey, each to his own

My sensi afh #1, from 2002, was probably not a landrace. It was super uniform, so it went through a gene bottle neck, it was super vigour, like a F1, it was a medium smoke at best, and it was very very hermie. I crossed it, seems vigour and mediocre taste were dominant. I nixed the line. Perhaps for a real breeder (im not) or for a better grower.
I dont like dissing Sensi's, but I call em as my growroom sees em.
