Reeferman's nutcruncher is the G13 afghani x his own IBL afghani he calls petrolia headstash. Although I hear DPs Afghani is also killer.

MLI is very leafy, if you plan on bubble bagging after it may be a good choice, otherwise I'd find another, but that's just personal choice.

have you grown it out yourself or is that just from what you heard or the pics? i do like to use my bubble bags, some of the best weed i ever smoked was tight buds that looked like it was all leaf with no hairs.

thanks pike, i was following that thread but forgot about it

guys you gotta remember when growing something like a pre soviet afghani its gonna be leafy. it just is. its not a worked strain from a'dam. they are old world genetics. there might be one or two that aren't leafy and tiny yielders. I think RM says his yield well.

but look at any of the others. DC is leafy as fuck and a tiny yielder. they are just pre soviets.

its kinda like saying you wanna grow a pure thai from the seventies but you want dense buds and a 70 day flowering window. they just don't really have them

that is true, i won't mind the leaf and the yield as long as it's top knotch knock your dick in the dirt weed, thats like the stuff i smoked, the guy that hooked me up knew the grower and said it was maple leaf indica, this guy doesn't know any strains beside the basic few, no way he could of pulled maple leaf indica out of his butt.

the bag i got was tight lime/gold buds, basically looked like a bud of tight knit leaves, barely no hairs, and few crystals, smelled skunky but not as strong as roadkill skunk but fairly skunky and tasted thick and smooth but expanded your lungs...if it was really maple leaf indica i'd be happy....has anyone out there grown or smoked it to see if any of the description matches?

Looking for that nice Afghan to make some crosses with. Besides Deep Chunk check out Sensi's Afghani #1, it's supposed to finish in 45 days.

deep chunk is kick ass from what i've seen and heard, but i'm checkin out his skunk ibl gear first. i wonder what the difference is between the afgahni #1 and the maple leaf indica besides the it was out of afgahnistan before the russian invasion.

Well you don't have to plan on getting the DC anyways because I'm going to make that cross anyways with the KG.

yeah forsure, you should take a male and female and make some straight dc also!

Without a doubt, I will make more DC seeds too. Same for the KG. If I got a IBL I'm going to keep it forever.

My LUI (Ortega-pheno) was extremely leafy....makes sense, since I believe that Ortega's lineage is Pakistan/Afghan. It would be tremendous as a bubble-bag strain, but when it came to manicuring it was difficult to tell where the leaf ended and the bud began. Nevertheless, it was a testament to the gobs of resin on the smaller leaves of the plant.....
