Pre 95 Sensi Star

Hey IC!

I wanted to share with you today some pre95 sensi star. This cut did very well at the 2011 420 Las Vegas meetup, I have smoked it once myself. I had a small kind of old sample, but what I can tell you is holy bag appeal batman.

So far I am very impressed with her, she is right up my alley. I love the super dense slow to grow hardy ass indicas. Her smell is becoming more and more of a turn on by the day and if any sensi star I have ever smelled is the half mother of deathstar this might be the one. It came not to far from where deathstar orginated and this cut has been aorund for ages. In the last couple days the smell is YUM!

If this girl taste half as good as she looks she may have a future in my mom room. I will be taking her to 63-65 days. You may be able to tell in the pictures I have recently done some defoilating to get some light down in the buds, I don't want no yellow shit.

These are super super super dense, I am used to nugs who will destroy a grinder but this is serious. I can't imagine that I am actually in the swell right now...

looks fanf'intastic to me.. how was the smell/taste of the sample u had? & how were these grown if I may ask?.. I have only personally tried the Star a handful of times.. was some fine smoke that's for sure, the plants it came off of looked real greasy with a distinct funk to it when finished.. thanks for sharing.. can't wait to see it before chop

DeoXy- Honestly the sample was small and old like I said I couldn't tell you, but I know I loved the look. I have heard good things about the smoke. Maybe others will chime in with experience with her. These were grown in an add water only soil mix, I crank out all kinds of shit in it, it is to dman easy. I don't even PH just bubble for 24 hours and pour as needed. I fed these beastie blooms once in mid flower.

Tater- Paradise Seeds sells Sensi Star seeds. I have 30 myself. This is a 1995 or before selected clone. Most would tell you the Sensi Seed stock has changed dramatically in the past years and is not favorable. I intend to find out for myself, and while doing so selecting a male or two and starting a backcross of this clone. Sometime in 2012 the project will begin and start steam rolling.

Looking good.

I remember the sample I saw and it definitely had bag appeal. It was really dense and had a good sparkle to it. I can't really comment on the smell, but I didn't really squeeze it or break any open. I imagine you're getting a much better idea from the flowering plants.

I'd be interested in hearing more about your just add water soil mix. I used Sunnydog's recipe, and had good results. Do you reuse your soil and do you let it sit for some time after amending it?

These seeds were procured from the first release of Paradise's Sensi Star in 1995, the keeper from a few packs. Not long after Paradise changed the recipe, I believe more toward the sativa characteristics. She has this sour elmer's glue thing going on and leaves ya feeling like a mix of muscle relaxer, opiate and benzo without the negative affects of these substances. Its great to see her yield so well in your garden. 1

Stunning!! work as usual PK. Heard crazy tales of this girl, some true stone to bone smoke. Always wanted to try this strain, but being Paradise worries me. VERY interested to see how your tests come out with the new seeds.......think you'll have a LOT of us rushing for them if results are favorable....
