Super Fat. Can only imagine how nice that smoke will be.

Regarding slow veggers if you have a backlog of vegging plants at different stages then there's no real disadvantage right?

Pulling up a seat anyway. Good luck for the grow!

So correct Whiteridge!! With multiple stages of grow going on it is not a pain to have a slower vegger!! Especially when it is one you plan on keeping!!

For veg both work but do the 600 for faster resulg. More photons reaching the plants.

Seriously though, if you add co2 they will go nuts...

Maybe you should put some of the clones in dwc they would veg nicely.

600 it is. Now if the diesel would just rinse already. What charictaristic/trait would one most want? Of course an SUV that gets 40 mph seats 7 has room for all the golf clubs and 400+ hp is the mystical unicorn so to speak but what is better if re-introducing this strain? Fast rooting? Fastet veg? Best end results eg. buds? Look for f2's the exact same as their parents? A lot I know but talk on.

my personal thoughts on this one..

fastest rooting and also which one roots fastest when clones taken..
pest resistant..
mold resistant..
biggest yield...
best smelling/tasting end product...
best high end product..
most exotic looking....

so from my understanding the F2's will show more variation of the parent plants that made the purple urkle F1 beans you now have.. ..
so if this is the case then i would say try to pick the F2s that look most like parents youve used this time..
this will be a reasonable timey project to get them to where they finally want to be but will be very worth the effort..

In the case of a ibl there wong be phenotypic variation. They are simply ibl with no farther fillial designation. F2s from ibls are still homogeneous.

F2 crosses you are right on it though brother!

I look for best effect, best smells, flavours and the faster rooters. Also plant and bud structure is a big deal for me.

Yield, well lets say i focus on quality first

These may all be totally homogeneous so in the end all the males and females will be so similar in such a small genetic pool they will likely be so similar no selection required. You never know though...

Hey if you want to see more phenotypes run 11 on 13 off in flower. Trust me its legit... Dj short brought it up, and does so in his book and several appearances ive seen, vid of the emerald cup breeders panel. Lets face it the man knows more about growing than many on the forums will ever know. I love his book, handy little one hundred pager.

Who knows, flower could surprise you, they can look different big time. In veg my 2 kalis last go looked the same. Flower, boom 2 different phenos. Great

Agreed and noted. I thought the same on finding variants close to the parents. Resistance is vital. Yeild important. But quality and ease of growing seem vital also. Good advice crom all!! Thank you!

Burning Lavender tonight!!! I will burn one for ya!!

The urks came from somewhere right? Every clone only was from a seed somewhere.
. Lol,ok.You don't understand what I was talking about. When Purple Urkle was Breed,or germed etc etc Who had The PU Line in Seed form?Someone had some pure PU Beans and grew them out to find the Pheno of it,that We now call "The Purple Urkle?"Just Like ECSD,ChemD,those never came from SourDeisel Seeds,or ChemD Seeds. There never was those Strains in Seedline form.Youre saying The Guy who had those Beans ,knew they were Purple Urkle Seeds before He grew them from a Pack of reg M/F Seeds?A lot of Elites are Elite because of The healing qualities ,taste ,smell or what have you and can come from any Seeds to become an Elite, that's why I also Love growing from Bean just to see if I Hit the next Big Thing. most came from a BagSeed and there was never a Male to keep it going.Hence Bx's,S1's,squared yada yada.I just never heard of Original Purple Urkle Seeds that spawned that Purple Chick We know and Love I like the thought that there might Be some solid Original Urkle Males out there ready to dust The Cut up.Great score though, can't wait to see how these Seeds workout for JN.So Cheers Big ears(Choppers Dad said that, not Me lol)<<Or Drink this if yer A Wine Guy>>,or if like Me,that Sh$t be Kool-Aid.And I didn't mean to say anything in a rude manor or in anyway to suggest that Someone was BS'n about the true Story behind them, just curious.Peace and Stay Safe,DancesWithWeed.

Thank you FullyMeltedDome. I hear ya. I appreciate the questioning with open minds. I am eager to find out for myself how they turn out. Males will be as welcomed as the females. I trust my sources and truly enjoy the posibility to preserve this strain. Not trying to ever argue here. The reason I decided to post the story of these babies here was to keep a catalogue of them. If they truly are the aforementioned then AWESOME!!!! And if not then we have catalogued what could be something old or something new, something borrowed or something purple!! For sure they look ibL indica to most all. Monster thick stems that are almost star shaped not round at all. And we will flower them, and breed them, and flower them and so fourth untill we love it and know what we have or just hop on to a stoney good time. Cheers and dabs to ya FullyMeltedDome!! Happy to have you along for the journey.
