After all those times you told me to use turface, and look whos on the diatomite now, lol. With no screening I had troubles with plugging the single tailpiece back in the 3.5 gal shotgun hole days...now im thinking about a turface diatomite pumice blend, as long as I can get the proper porosity. I still need to give your rooting technique a shot...

I came across a product in oz called drysorb 25.00 for 15 kilo= 33lb was told it is fairly well granulated, will check this out shortly, maybe tomorrow. have any of you guys heard of this product? another called spillfix has more fines the man said. trying to find something to replace coco,because of deliverys etc. still intend to make ppk.
ok, washed 1 bag of floor dry to see how much it filled the tub. cut them all to size. installed and aquarium siliconed the fittings in place. now i just need to measure my hose length and cut them to size and hook everything up......TOMORROW lol. im tired and have to clean up my mess before she who must not be named sees it.
there were many fails today. my dremel caught fire, i used the wrong silicone and had to clean it off and go get the right kind and i made a wonderful mess in my dining area but i almost completed the build. i need it up and running in one week before i leave to san francisco for a few days. wish me luck. i really dont wanna come back to a disaster lol.
