PPK vert 4 plant 5 light grow show and DIY, 3400w, CO2

only if youre counting all the dust and junk lol. i bought 6 bags and only needed 2. i was told afterwards that you really dont need a lot of media since you are flooding every hour and that will give it time to do the wet/dry thing. im gonna order those 7 gal tubs since they are way more sturdy and i actually trust them to hold the weight of it all. i think i may order another 10x10 tent and set up my second ppk as soon as some of my bumper crop is ready.
i used to be all hopped up on turface, now i'm all hopped up on 8822!
what held me back on it initially is that it is more fragile. you can break it in your hand. but really if it holds up for a grow it's good enough if it's disposable.
i like the lighter weight but what has really got me going is the difference in bud quality. not a huge difference but very noticeable.
i'm pretty sure that it has a greater internal pore space which gives each particle slightly greater storage capability and would partly explain the lower bulk density.
i haven't lost a cutting yet!

i was just about to order some pellets but if this works ive got tons of it just laying around
more night shots. the buds are filling in so damn nice. im loving this strain in this system. i think im gonna run it one more time and then put a second strain in the ppk im gonna start building. if i can get my damn bubblegum to root i wanna run her in there for sure. she is looking so nice in just 1 gal of rockwool. she would blow up huge in this system and her branching is quite impressive
i found a cool way to use my cooltubes. just flipped the socket around so it hangs out and then i can air cool my bulbs still without the glass. pretty freakin sweet. best of both worlds.

so they are still getting flooded every hour and they are being given nutes?
i'm flooding every 90 minutes in both veg and flower. i'm cloning in the main veg system at 600 ppm just like everything else.
no domes or special treatment. just a big cutting stuck in a hole. some dip-n-grow.

just ordered the feed tubs to build my second ppk. im gonna need to get another pump, res, hoses etc and i am also gonna try out D9's new bulkhead tailpiece and see how that works out.
poppin some gage green genetics seeds at the moment that were gifted to me by a member here (thanks a million). got sun maiden, leia og and candy drop. the sun maiden genes sound good to me by the parents, but then again they all do lol. hopefully i will do them proud.

I came across a product in oz called drysorb 25.00 for 15 kilo= 33lb was told it is fairly well granulated, will check this out shortly, maybe tomorrow. have any of you guys heard of this product? another called spillfix has more fines the man said. trying to find something to replace coco,because of deliverys etc. still intend to make ppk.
They sell drysorb here in the states also. I've never actually looked at it closely, but if it says it's made of calcined clay and the right consistency you are good to go (same thing as napa floor dry). Never heard of spillfix, but again check the label to see what's it's made of and consistancy.
if my cuts take im gonna run moscas bubblegum. if not ive got some blue dream or i can make a drive and pick up some elites three hours away

the tent is one of the nicer ones but not the super expensive ones. i think its a homebox but i dont remember. its 9.5x9.5
they are electrical water tight fittings. you can get them at any home improvement store. another brand came recommended but i couldnt find them so i tried these and they work fine as long as you silicone the connections well. i havent had any leaks. they work really good and they clamp down on the garden hose to lock it in really well

this is the one i used. just make sure it fits the hose you use.
