sorry i got ratty but i'm not scamming anyone, they've changed the website since i got it, they were claiming 40%, i gave them a feedback email 2 weeks after i got the devices, mayb they're getting info countering the 40% first claimed.
i've yet to get a change in my monthly direct debit payments for electric, i think that mite take som time, i'll post the cash savings or non savings which ever is the case.
i dont want anybody buying stuff that doesnt work or missing out on a possibe saving, only time will tell if wat reads on my meter is an accual cash saving.

PG&E knows what is happening in this state, and they ARE the power company, and they have their hand out, collecting from the green-gold rush. I pay $0.37 KWH.

Nept did you read any of the links posted?.. there is no denying the science behind PF correction. now whether or not you will save a ton of $ in the US with one of these boxes...not unless it has a built in motor controller such as mine... it is what is causing the savings on a KWH billed powergrid if you are on a KVAH billed powergrid they work exactly as they claim
ANY inductive load ie: windings (motors, transformers, etc) causes the Voltage to LEAD the Current by 90 degrees ( sine waves). Capacitors cause the Voltage to LAG the Current by 90 degrees. It does take some complex math to figure the Reactance ( = Z) necessary to return the Voltage/Current to be "In Phase" with one another. Just figured I could give some idea on how those "Power Savers" work

Back in 98 hightimes i remember seeing such a device..it was 800 bucks a unit and it looked like no toy either...Somehow the U.S. made a law banning the importation of them. It was a canadien based company, I will have to research it sometime.
