Hoping for a high CBD hybrid. The father plant was Dance World, an RQS 1:1 THC/CBD strain with delicious terps and an uplifting effect, pollinated by Johaar (a Himalayan charas landrace), then the F1 crossed back to another Dance World plant - so a sibling backcross.

this plant is starting to show the malawi traits of mom, good vigor on this pheno, needs a bigger pot to finish in. Transferring come lights on.

smells like old man breath(coffee and halitosis) and funky Mango, I know this one is going to be special. I've got about 10 seeds on this plant, that i can see maturing, f3 tester seeds from open pollenation.

Hashplant phenotype showing more and more amber by the day, I give it another week before harvest, at roughly 9 weeks. More squat style growth.

Sativa dominant hashplant pheno, got the malawi resins, smells like a Miso Soup. Just like the father plant. The male successfully passed on the resins on about 30-40% of the population.

Puffball is taking its time maturing.

this Malawi pheno, smaller stature, same smells(green mango, spice, carrots) with some fruity watermelon smells added on.

ginger beer phenotype, a bit more sensitive to nutrient burn than the f1 generation, also getting transfered to finish flowering.

Malawi dominant "Butter Toffee/caramel" phenotype, more sativa structured than the f1 variation.

Both of my males have entered their final stages of flower, and are pumping out their last bits of color and resins, some small trichomes visible here and there. I believe the "Soda" phenotype Male plant here is ready for reveg. It's showed its stuff and all that's left is to grow the offspring.

This is the "haribo" male below, about anweek behind the "Soda" male.

I think both of these males are worth making seeds with. I have an entire room full of their open pollenated offspring, one malawi leaning, the other thai.

Another bunch of X's in the making.

CBD1 x ETH ... I think I might get something from this. 2 years ago the panama I grew wasn't very advanced at this date and I still managed to get something quite potent.. The shortening hours and temperature has a way to rush a plant.

and the Panama on October 22, we had a very mild fall, I'm not expecting anything like that

The CBD1 is looking great and probably coming down tomorrow.

The NCH3 is a waste.. it looks like shit compared to previous years and is basically fully seeded. It's bumming me out but it's my fault, I waited too long and left the CBD1xETH male too long. I can't really spare room for this cross so outside of maybe a handful of seeds it's basically a waste.

Turn that NCH3 into a fermented brick/Cob. The seeds will be easier to spot after fermentation as they retain their structure and you can pluck them out, it's chewable/edible and smoke-able.

https://www.icmag.com/threads/malawi-style-cob-curing.309936/page-447#post-18767779 this whole thread details the procedure.
