DCxPAN #7 @fd35, tall plant, longer flowering pheno with the right feeding.
Doing a one fits all approach for seed making, but have clones to explore further.

Destroyer x Old Timers Haze

Oh man!! I'm gonna say maybe another week on this one. and the smell is old school dank, whatever that combination of terps is, not sweet, lemony, fruity, or gassy, just that old school dank smell, and it's pretty fragrant. Very quick finisher taking after the Colombian heritage.

The other one is starting to look very nice as well, with the Alder cone like buds, full of sugar. Not much smell yet, but id say another 8 weeks, so plenty of time to develop.

I found a s'mores pheno 😳.

Malawi spice/gingerbread smell, sweet chocolate and this light vanilla smell from the Cuvee grandpa, woody smell too, like it got smoked on a wood fire. Never smelled anything like this in a plant.

I've got another 200+ seeds, If it's any good, I'll self it and then hunt an equivalent male for f2's. I don't really have any gingerbread/graham cracker smelling males, a few chocolate smelling males though.

So many phenotypes to make f2's from.

This one showing the Deep Chunk features impressively, overall I'm quite satisfied with the cross.
The only issue is the mold that comes with DC, by the end of week 7 the first brown sugar leafs started and I had to cut off one head since. Having the seeds underneath makes the buds rot much faster, as calyxes always die off once a seed is mature.
My humidity is constantly around 65% due to seasonal weather, with that now in mind I will run these only in winter time when I barely manage to keep up 40%.

I also didn't expect that quick of a finish (8 weeks) and was feeding a lot due to seed production.
After half way through they prefer dry pots and only little nutrients, I was too generous with the molasses towards the end. We're on plain water ever since, but the damage had been done already.

DCxPAN #7 @fd53; today is fd55 and I'm preparing the drying area.

DCxPAN are coming down now, I started day 55 and pulled more individuals since.

yesterday it was time for #5; I've waited a little, but she just didn't wanna close the top calyx and would just keep on foxtailing, if I let it go on. The "Red" smell is strong on this one, as is are the purps.
Happy to have a cut and run a whole lamp for smoke soon.
Getting tired of picking seeds from my bud, when doing these repros and line progressions^^
I mean, it always makes me more happy to have another batch of beans sorted & packed, than getting high ever could. But not being high enough due to lower quality product, often kills my mood and I have little enthusiasm to work the garden. Every real grower knows this, there are often times, when you just feel like a factory worker and only getting artificial light messes with your head.

Not the best pic quality, I tried to make the final shot in the dark and flash is always tricky then.
Still presentable and representative of the line. There are 2 more phenos still flowering, which lead much heavier into the Panama side, much fatter colas which are still throwing pistils week 9, I assume it's gonna take 11 for a good fade, as I'm still feeding and they drink it all up.
Due to heatwave my temps are up and I notice faster metabolism of the whole garden.
hardly catching on with the watering atm o_O

DCxPAN #5 @fd61; before chop

Nice, that's a marked improvement over the OTH flowering time.

indeed!

but that can be very pheno specific with these NLD crosses, as likely @Keif Cake can confirm.
As he said "Purple Destroyer Haze", I just assume there was some selection going on.

There are some phenos within lines, that are far outside of the spectrum, that's why I made the joke.

Like my Jamaican has a 22 week pheno, they call "long time weed".
Which shows up here and there, in F1s made with that line, but using much faster flowering males. Pineapple Banana Bud x Jamaican f1 e.g.
Mostly homogenous and faster, still the progeny comes with some outliers, 5% of plants taking forever to even show sex
Usually it's 7 weeks from flip, to see the first noticeable budding on those cuts!
Often they 5,6,7 ft plants by then...

running some right now and looking at a potential "long time" indoors again, hence it popped in my mind. This time though, I already went with the smallest pot possible, knowing the vigor.
1gal it is, lets battle!

These are F1 of Destroyer x OTH.

I started with about 10 seeds, 3 of which germinated, 2 females and 1 male, both females have seeds of F2 generation.

The male looked very OTH dominant

This is the second female, she went into flower at the same time, and at least another month left, so this one will be at least 16 weeks finishing, I'm thinking 18 or 20 by the time it's done. Not much smell to this one yet, and what i am able to pick up would be found in the OTH profile description, kinda woody and gunpowder, very faint, but also a good 6 weeks from the end. Where the purple has been carefree, this one has been the complete opposite. Nitrogen toxicity in the beginning, then some deficiencies, and finally needed more N. This one will probably be real ugly by the time another 6 weeks goes by, ive been topdressing and added some biobizz fish mix. The resin is nice and plentiful though, maybe this one will carry the green haze high

I plan on popping seeds from the Purple one, especially if i like the smoke, and then backcross male to it for F3 and see where it goes from there. I think there is good potential in the short flowering one, nice compact structure from the Colombian side, very nice sized dense buds, an improvement over both Parental lines, very excellent resin but that is to be expected coming from Destroyer. Will be interesting to see if the structure, buds, color, and scent can be somewhat homogenized

Edit: it took a good 7 weeks to see buds develop on the green female. The purple one mostly done by the time buds appeared
