Well I"m sure those reflectors are safe the only thing i'd worry about is heat issues. Tenn is where it's at man welcome aboard. Everyones started small at some point unless they saved up before startin their grow but i moved up from a 95 dollar 150 hps from my local Hydroponics store and then moved up to 2 150 watts then a 600 its a slow climb but oh so worth it and for the people who worry about electricity cost i have a space heater that takes 1500 watts to run so the light is nothin in comparison to that or your oven in my opinon but your not runnin those things for 12 hrs a day though to. kinda one half dozen or the other.

small update: got pipe cleaners to begin lst tonight and matte white spraypaint for a coat on inside of the reflectors

lolpic tonight I pruned and lsted most of the plants. spent an hour doan that after lights came on, then next went and smoked a very tall bong with my good friend who may start his own hydro grow soon enough.

yeah webcam sucks for pix.
zip-tied the edges of pop cans together so i have solid rows of matte white pained aluminium over them, unfettered to see if that helps any, bottles full of ice to lower temp and raise humidity, kelp meal instead of maxibloom for a while

toking transplanting and training, a couple days untied did them good. the larger pots will do them even better

If you run this setup again, I would advise plastic soda bottles over the aluminium cans as they can end up leaching into the soil with ill effect. I also grow is a cardboard box and have had no issues with heat man, just gotta love making it work.
