so i have read the thread on storing and mailing pollenand it is good except i am wondering if anyone mails pollen here? i have dutch passion white widows i want to breed, but in the small area i have it is hard to have a male. does anyone have pollen to sell? i am in canada so i guess it is kind of safe to mail here. any help would be appreciated.

what kind of criminals do i think you are??? are you fucking kidding me? where do you think seeds come from, yes thats right a male and a female plant. what does the male plant produce, pollen. there are seed dealers all over this site(seedsdirecct, seedbay, seedboutique) where do you get seeds without pollen? why is it such a crime to ask about pollen on a cannabis grow site. why are seeds available everywhere with no problem but i have to feel like a dick because i asked about pollen? in an old heads magazine article soma said it would be great to have a worldwide breeding program by using the internet, yet when i bring this up it is considered an insult. it would be nice to see that dream become reality. by the way it is a federal crime to ship seeds also.
go to the thread collecting, storing and mailing pollen, page 2 has TELEPOD listing the letter he wrote to the post office along with the pollen. EZOZO even has pretty pictures posted on how its done. others posted their ways but i cant even ask a question on the subject. i guess like overgrow.com the only welcome questions here are about yellow leaves and dead plant questions

Hey jodiac the reason theres seed dealers here is cause they own the site (seedsdirect/botique/ seedbay). The reason they don't allow open soliciting of seeds clones, pollen etc etc is to keep members safe. How do we know your not some cop or fed. No offense but its the internet. Theres no tellin who your really talkin to. How bout you build a small box with some florus in it and keep a male in there. Problem solved, no need to ask for pollen now. Have a nice day. devilock--well, thanx for being positive. seriously i understand the security issue, but why are seeds easier to get than pollen. i wasnt trying to put anyone out of business or anything, i just wanted some variety in my garden. it seems like people treat pollen like it is heroin while seeds, the things that grow the plants are o.k. to talk about. why is pollen such a taboo subject? people talk about alot more risky things on this site other than pollen.

I'am sure all the HH's have already got a handle on it but it would be cool to see a pollen (auction) site 1 day...hell it's every bit as valuable as any seed...if it's the real shabangazzz....or shaaaaballllzz's

junit, I think though seeds are legal in some countries, pollen is pushing it too far. Plus its way too perishable to be able to be successfully shipped without great expense to protect the contents, it has to be kept at a certain temperature. Also, not much can be kept in stock becuase demand is touch and go. Seeds will last for years if well-conserved, pollen for months....maybe.
not to mention the fact that you don't seem to remember the anthrax scare....massive mailing of a little bit of pale powder can get you into some heavy shit you'll have a hard time explaining your way out of. This is the world we live in.

The reason you don't see pollen for sale,as far as I can tell is because of the very limited shelf life,even frozen.Seeds of course can last for years so that's why so many people sell seeds.Also the breeder population is pretty small compared to sinsemilla growers.
We had a trading thread here in the Breeders forum back in the begining but after a couple months of trouble free activity it turned nasty.In fact,it was the original reason for rule #7.

Sunsimluator..... Ive heard of people smoking male pollen/sacs... but i just thought it was nonsense.... I was Not aware there were traceable amounts of THC in pollen. No Offence but im here to learn and im learning fast

Thanks JLP for tuning us in with the proper info. I understand about the shelf life... as Indigo eluded to so all kind of proper planning would have to be done ....down to the day even. Not very easy to do & i also agree w/ Indigo on the not mailing anything with a powder substance in it . Atleast not for the next 10yrs Have a great weekend all Peace 3ld 
Have a great weekend all Peace 3ld wow-- i am glad this turned into an interesting and informative thread instead of turning nasty(as they can get sometimes). yeah, i forgot about the pollen containing thc. and the anthrax scare is an unfortunate reality. i wasnt looking to cause trouble on this site as we have enough problems as it is, i guess i got thinking too much about that soma article i read on an international breeding program, but i guess security is too strict in the world to give us this luxury. well, peace to all, and i apologize for any paranoia i caused...
