I have pollen in my freezer thats 6 months old and still viable. However, when I shipped some to a friend overseas, 2 weeks in the mail, she didn't get a single seed. I guess I should have tried express mail. Anyway, the point is, pollen does have a short shelf life if not properly stored. Once it comes out of the freezer, it needs to be used immediatly. Least thats been my experience. Now days I just clone my best males and keep the cuttings in another room or outside til I need them.
