It not bad enough that the Politicians will get a wind fall to blow, its not a secret that they have bankrupted the State which once was the 7th largest economy in the world and those in power for the last couple of decades ruined it until it has a F credit rating and the State is slated for bankruptcy because of profligate malfeasance with the Calpers fund, the retirement fund for states unionized workers who vote 100% democrat for their raises. The money generated by taxes tax money should not go to the voracious thieves in Sacramento but for research of cannabis. No money for the politicians, guards, police, unions who have fought against even medical cannabis, they deserve nothing because they've done nothing but obstruct, jail and damn cannabis. Hold out for money to go to medical research universities, government has fought cannabis for so long there has to be a cure for cancer in that plant.
The politicians and the whole justice system have been persecuting harmless cannabis users for 50 years . The majority of the criminal justice system for years was capitalized by drug enforcement . The war on drugs ,(created for racist reasons ,and hippie hate ) . Just how much of our tax money has been wasted on cannabis law enforcement . We the people have supported and built this law enforcement empire with our tax dollars (police ,defense & prosecuting attorneys , judges , clerical staff, guards , court houses , prisons , etc. ) For what ? So they can arrest us , take our possession's , ruin our lives . The justice system owes us a lot , we should not give any tax money to them.

i wholeheartedly concur!
they think we should be grateful that they are now going to take our money rather than put us in jail! should be a rebate!

Where Im from we pay too much taxes because we have to vote in these stupid liberal mommy governments in order to get the drug war stopped. So now we have weed being legalized but have to deal with going into defecit in order to pay for all the stupid socialist shit they do in the meantime. Why cant we have a conservative non-spending government in favour of ending the drug war?

In Arizona the 42,000 inmates 7 in the nation consumes 63% of all the psychotropic drugs that come into the state. 80% are there for crimes that were in conjunction with the drug trade. The drug charges were dropped for the other crimes theft robbery assaults etc. By dropping the drug charges they dont get counseling only 12 percent get drug counseling. So we keep them stoned incoherent with lithium and the such. Fuck let them smoke and grow pot at $.015 and hour sell the pot to dispensaries.
