just wanted to mention to headshot that when using just ocean forest soil even when amended with perlite your plants should have no problem with just water for at least three weeks. and i prefer to start with small pots and transplant but thats just my opinion. but as for FFOF no nutes needed in a 3gallon pot until that plant is big like an 18 inch bush even less needed when growing with cfls it is so much easier to deal with deficiencies (underfeeding) than lockouts and burning. also from my experienxe i also found that when you start in smaller pots even if you lockout a transplant and some good old plain water for a week is all you need to get er jumpin. so headshot as a newbie always remember less is more remember weed grows pretty well out in the wild without a ton of help

yes calmag is not needed in FFOF until your plant is much further also FFOF does not have lime which in future grows is always good to have in there. im sure with the flush and some time youll be fine. BTW do you know if this is a female yet if no thats another good reason to start with small pots so you dont have to junk 3 gallons of soil on a male

When I used FFOF for the first time I had the same issue. Since then I have change a bit to FFOF mixed with FFLW, sunshinemix#1, perlite, lime, and small amount of Jamacian bat crap. I have not had any problems since I did this. Here is a pic of the plant. After flushing and adding CALMAG I was able to salvage the plant and got some very good Purple haze.
