Whoever said the wolf wins has never seen mixed dog fights or pit bulls fight.
I have seen hundreds of pit bull fights in a latin american country at a local dog kennel. Many people are prejudiced and have strong views about dog fights, so I will say I do not condone the practice.
the weird thing was these dogs seemed happy brawling. The fights many times looked like a MMA fight, one pins the other down with it's chest etc, the thick skin handles the abuse well. It's brutal to see blood tho, people get squeamish. Only few dog fights end in serious injury, because usually one of the dogs gets tired of wrestling. It's basically a wrestling match with a bit of blood, kinda like MMA!
That being said, the dude that owned the kennel would challenge any dog in town and I had my share of laughs watching Rottweilers, Mastiffs, dobermans, german shepperds, etc, get owned by Pits, I mean running after them biting puffs of hair off their asses and the dogs running for dear life..always, huskies, boxers, LOL he would even sick his bull terrier on the dogs and most couldn't even handle those little fuggers let alone a real big Pit Bull.
Bottom line is, no animal is as tough as a Pit Bull, I'll put money on that, poor wolf, I can see it now, a wolf running through the snow with bald spots on its ass and a pitt wagging its tail with a big black beard of wolf fur, believe me, like they said, wolves are cowards like hyenas, hunt in packs..and that's cause theyre hungry, imagine a hungry mad pit bull....ouch

I saw a Pit Bull at the same place lock onto the caregivers elbow/arm for a good 20 minutes, blood pouring down, guy screaming, and Pit wagging tail and shaking like a shark... You have no clue what you just said,....the owner had to knock it out with a bat to the head to get it off dude's arm, fun times..
Nope, that's instinct, you can train a pit to fight, but one always backs out, that is how 90% of fights are won. Most pits don't have the "fight to the death" instinct, but the ones that do are worth the big bucks, and that's why Vic went through so many, looking for that killer instinct only a few have. Most fight like a brawl. I've seen a 35 minute pit fight, that is loong, one ended up not attacking after a while, mainly from being tired, not hurt, they are so tough, you don"t even know..the one that kept going back after getting separated won the fight. Stupid, but people do it...and in third world countries you can't really do much about it..like cockfights or bull fights etc.

Doc leave you do know that a Bull Terrier key word BULL is the most Dominant breed in the bully breed or just over looked that fact see i breed this breed i know everything about it if said this about pits i would be lieing but i know my bullys!

Wolves have stronger jaw pressure then the pits. So I would think the wolf could snap some bones quicker than the pit. I vote wolf

Is that a fact that they're not even the most top 3 or is it simply what you believe because for a fact I KNOW, no other dog breed has excelled in dog sports more than the real American Pit Bull Terrier. The bigger the head, the stronger the bite. The bull terrier is going to have a stronger bite than a true American Pit Bull Terrier, 30-55 lbs, look at the head difference. However to say a Bull Terrier would win against any American Pit Bull Terrier since you've never seen for yourself doesn't hold very much weight.

They were bread to bait large game, hunt, fight. If someone let an APBT fighting champion off in an open field to a wolf...you're saying the wolf would win?
