^^^^^^ i must say again like all the others AMAZING i just read through your thread again .,..... i love it ..... i do have a ???? all this talk about your equipment but i dont recall anything about your electrical >>>>> all those watts have to be a delicate ballet of cords and water especially with two floors >>>>>i must see some info on that ????? have you had any flooding close calls ?????

And those pictures ... very beautiful. I would love to have 40 or 50 Satori sitting on a table too!

If it was me I would do 2 4x4s for ease of use, cleaning, etc. However.......You could build a 4 x 8 as long as you give the center some really good support.
One reason why I use the 3x3s is.......I would be hard pressed to get 4x4s in my space............I can reach to the back row on a 3x3 to maintain, move, or whatever I need to do to them. A 4x 4 would not work fro me unless I could roll it out away from a wall or walk all the way around it.
If ya already have the 4 x 4 or 4 x 8 then by all means .........Use it. I would if I had it.
That's just my opinion. It would definitely work though. Juts add more sprinklers. I aim for 1 micro sprinkler per square foot or more.

Well ya know the old saying about plumbers and electricians having the worst plumbing or electrical in their own homes? Yeah well..........Welcome to Pirates Cave. I am an electrician by trade (30 years) and am definitely not happy with my current electrical set up. It's not unsafe...........It's just a freaking RATS nest with wires and cords running everywhere. My plan is to revamp the whole thing. It's just that as I've expanded I kept adding this or that and now I have a mess. I already made my plan for a nice electrical area. I have some remodeling to do to the whole room and that will be part of it. I'll post some photos when I do it. Sooner rather than later.........I hope.

Well............I've a had a few spills but that's to be expected when ya got a couple hundred gallons of water around. I've had 2 major floods. One was when I started to fill a rez with a hose, walked away to do something else and forgot about it..........Yeah........Flood City. The other time was when a Rubbermaid tub developed a split at the base and gave a slow leak that took me a few days to realize. The water was running away from the area where I would see it so the only way I knew it was leaking is when the rez level kept getting to low to fast. At first I thought.........GEE.....my plants are drinking a lot................NOT !!!

ok First of Congratulations to Pirate for having a top notch DIY grow with AERO no less. Way to make the most of that space! and you are a reall go-getter, always something up your sleeve.
you're really doing it all huh? Moms, Cloning, Flowers, Seeds, Breeding, Building... the only thing you don't do that have to to deal with is odor killing incorporated into the ventilation. A+ all around. this grow has it all. Plus some great genetics.
Quick question to summarize after hours of reading:
So how many total watts you got going? actually with the dehumi and heater plus 1k mom room you must be up there..
total yield per 60 days? must be around the 5 - 6 # range...
do you do all your own electrical work? (if so, add that to the above list
) i would like to get to that point but i am limited to the electical in my current location cuz i dont know anything abt electical work and i dont want to get fried (the bad kind Zaaaaaappp)
and the second congratulations goes to ME for reading every word of every page in one fucking sitting. it surely wasn't dark out when i started

Yes I do all my own electrical. If fact.........I do everything from carpentry to plumbing and all inbetween. I farm NOTHING out and if I can build something verses buying...............I'll build that too. LOL.
I pretty much grew up with a contractor father in the construction industry as well as being an inventive sort since I was a kid. It kind of comes naturally to me. I don't know any other way.
Watt-ages?
Well..........I got 9000 in lights plus 2 AC units,Dehumidifier, fans, exhaust, intakes, pumps that run 24/7, and other misc mumbo jumbo. I'd say I'm in the 12 to 13,000 watt range for all equipment. BIG electric bills. BIG !!............and it sucks.
Right now I am still in a transitional period between my NEW production mother and some old ones. I am getting around 5#s every 2 months but I expect that to go up very soon with my AK47, Satori & Berry OG. These are some real producers and will give me 1/2 oz per plant. Keep in mind that I grow em 5 inches apart, 24 inches tall with 49 to a 3 x 3 table with 8 tables total. Their basically sticks with buds on top. Pure SOG.
Anyway.......Thanks for dropping into "The Cave".

I have 3 Mandala #1s going.......Looking for a mother. Out of those 3......2 are the purple pheno and the colors are starting to come out. I still got 2 or more weeks on this and I expect the Purple will become more distinct as she nears harvest. Keep in mind that the color is purely genetic inherited from her New Zealand Purple Indica side of the gene pool. Nothing to do with cooler temperatures.

Yeah that NLxWW does look sick and shes only gonna get fatter. I have grown this out one other time but didn't keep a mother. It was some potent ass shit and everybody loved it.Northern Lights x White Widow is a killer cross. I'm keeping this one and already have my mother vegging. You'll see a whole table filled in the future. HA HA HA HA HAAAAAA !!!!

Thats the best grow Ive ever seen. Its big, it has very very good room construction (with two floors ) and those roots on the previous site are absolutely amazing. Dont know how do you manage, but i like all that I dont know if you allready mention but how much fans do you have for intake and outake and to where do you pump and suck the air? How much cfm does that fans have?
