Picked up some flowering ferts... I predict an explosion in flower growth soon... Tryin for a 3 footer bud this year...

A bag of nitrogen rich 10-2-1 guano mainly for the ones still in vegetative stage/early flowering, and the rest of the plants will be top dressed with a little of it along with the 0-12-1 guano. They grew hard this year... They will use some N during flowering... Don't blink...

Thanks white russian! I admire them all... The one that I always look up to and start getting butterflies with is the 8 ft. pistilate (Erocket x Danish Passion) x Deep Chunk) x (B3/N7) x (Erdbeer Purpurea ticininsis)... I have grown both hybrids last year and they were very vigorous and had unique potent smokes... Can't wait to watch her in bloom... She's really on the move right now...

Mossy I have those same dreams believe it or not... They're quite fun, as I still have excellent dream recall and to some extent dream consciousness which stemmed from recording my dreams and actively pursuing lucid dreaming a few years back... I need to get back into that...

I'm thinkin I may end up with a few 3 footers as well.. I've already had some good practice hiking handfulls of males taller than me out of there... Using your shoulder lets your hand rest a bit and means you can carry more males...

May be some similarities between that sk 1 and your mazar hybrids, but remember that plant flowered very early on in its life and has a pretty shaded site... Site/environment has a lot to do with phenotype as you well know... Nature vs. nurture... But then again this was the site powerhouse finished quickly in and had rock hard dense floral culusters....

Great shot of the mantis. I had a bunch of mantis egg masses in the hedge border of my garden earlier this year, but I've yet to see any actual mantises... I had brought several egg masses up last year in hopes they would colonize... I have plenty of assasin bugs though...

You have spider mites? Spray them with water in the morning. Don't forget the undersides of the leaves...

Cheers..but that is my first line of defence..
water plus a drop of washing up liquid as a wetting agent to make it stick to the undersides of the leaves.
They laughed at it...

but I have the mantis..and my stink bugs back..so the red-spider should be dead shortly.

The only one that really suffered was the little purple russian.
She was so bad she almost succumbed..so I sprayed her with bought mite spray and marked her up for seed only..
I don't smoke the bud if I don't know what is in it.

Sorry I haven't been around lately, been busy as can be building a good 70 ft of stairs notched into the hillside at our lake home... I'm a stronger man now, and our feet won't feel so uncertain walking down the gravel path it used to be...

I'll get a pic up soon...

Thanks guys, its a bit of work keeping everything weeded and keeping the thorns, grape, and hedge bindweed cleared back to let the gardens grow... Now we have been able to sit back for a minute and patiently let them grow up and out... Soon the guano will be applied and the plants will be checked for males and oddities... Should end up with some good seed at the end of the year...

Keke, keep in mind that skunk no 1 is likely growing like that because of the conditions it grew in... Initially as a seedling it was grown to a foot in nearly full sun in the cold frame... It was transplanted to the plot that flooded last year which is the most shady one and it began flowering soon after... Been flowering all summer, but now its starting to come on thicker... Can't wait to see whats going on with her...

That sucks those mites put so much pressure on ya mossy, almost like growing in a greenhouse when you're that isolated from the environment... At least the mantis made it up there...

Got a the cutest little black kitten yesterday... Just a few months old, she's a real sweetheart... Loves to just sit in your lap... I'll get ya some new photos some time soon...

Enjoying a leaf cig right now... Very nice... Got flowers drying... I think it was RD, an early flowering one that was pollinated by a hermi... Very loose but very nice resin smell!

Had a very hard storm system come through this week and it knocked over about 80 percent or so of the plants... Flooded plot got flooded this year because of the 4 and a half or so inches of rain we received in a single day.... That was the one with a big fat early flowering plant... Shook out the dirt and other debris and stood them up... Minimal mold because they were checked within 48 hrs... Thank goodness... All the plots have been staked, and everything but the track plots have been ferted with guano as well. The harvest is coming very soon I see... Stick around for the update... Gardens are pretty this time of year...
