It's a landrace from D.R....
I got some family there now and I plan to take the trip and get the guided tour as soon as I am able.... I'm done blowing up my spot though. When I have it the world will know.... They'll be affordable.

All of the hybrids you've been seeing vado are the result of breeding to reduce flower times. The OG s in the game refuse to run this watered down crap. The real takes longer to finish obviously.

As far as it all coming from FL? No. Many many MANY grows in the metro area. Transporting is a larger risk than cultivation. Period. Less time. Period.

I pray you all get to experience this strain and if I'm the one that gets to bring it to you, I'll have to write a fucking book on the events that ensued....

A Bit OFF Topic

A Bit OFF Topic

Why does the United States of America have such a violent culture?

Why do we have the largest prison population per capita on planet Earth and still consider ourselves part the "free world"?

Why has our government made it a business to arrest, prosecute, and imprison its own citizens? Employing MILLIONS and spending BILLIONS to complete this task?

Why are public "defenders" appointed under the guise of legitimate and fair representation when their payroll checks are written by the state or people looking to prosecute them? And why do they then reccommend to their clients (usually young, black, youth) to take the first or second offer given by the prosecution, all the while never truly learning the case or attempting to search for loophole dismissals?

The answers to some of these questions are all both obvious and complicated...

Anyone care to discuss?

Does anyone believe in Anarchy? Or at least believe in some way that a society will work most of its social problems out on its own...?

If any of you go to music festival or follow what is left of the Dead... Think about the lot. It's like a mini society... And injustices seem to get taken care of one way or another... Eventually... (bwahahahaha)

I personally do NOT believe in Anarchy. My belief is that certain people (who are not staunch enough to do it normally) would take advantage of that situation...

At the same time, I don't like what I see today. Legislating morality.

This Ronald Reagan mentality. Drugs are the perfect scapegoat. That entire campaign gave parents the right to breeze right past suspicion to conviction. It still exists! And the best part? Take any ONE of those archaic thinking dinosaurs, see what prescriptions they take! LMAO at the overt hypocrisy!

Religion. I really can't say much on this. I have too much to say. But I will say this. Every human being has an INNATE instinct to question thier world. Thier reality. I think it is unhealthy to EVER stop that quest. That journey in itself is part of humanity. To stop that and begin to believe that you have all (or even most) of the answers in not only grossly arrogant, but also unhealthy for the human phyche. It permits you to become judgemental about those around you who do not claim to posess such enlightenment. The more you believe what you believe, the more distance (mentally, spiritually, and possibly eventually physically) you create between you and the "non-believers".

Why are people not more wary of an institution that claims you need them to intervene with God FOR YOU...?? (In fact you should see a man in a dark room, alone, who has decades of built up sexual tension for being made to feel that sexuality is a diversion from God not a GIFT from HIM/HER...)

This is why the one with the "to each thier own" attitude might seem to some to be somewhat more grounded and sane (to me)...

I for one am seriously unhappy with the state of affairs I see about me. I feel (and am) powerless to change these things. What can I do to make myself feel better????

Talk about it here....

Just got back from East Coast Nugs and Jugs. It was a sick event. Big ups to ********, Dr. LongBottom, JoeSchmoe, and Stinky Attic for winning those cups! Sick herb!

The seedlings are looking fine. They are about a week old.

Get lost. That was pathetic.

Hhaahaahhaaa:laughing:... What a Putts.... Get em outta hea..... I was hoping someone said that LOL...

anyhoo, I just started reading this thread... Sounds hello interesting... Page 2

stay safe folks:tiphat:

i always thought that what people consider to be uptown haze/piff, the original stuff that made it famous was bagseed from the pounds of haze the hippy mafia folks were sending out east.

haze was originated in santa cruz in the late 60's by the haze bros.. then these hippy mafia folks, brotherhood of eternal love was their name i think started smuggling pounds of that haze from cali to NY and other states on the east coast. i'd bet some of the big time buyers found some seeds and started growing them and keeping cuts and all that good stuff.. and that became known as uptown haze/piff and became well known.

but i would assume most of it today is phenos from ssh, mango haze, original haze, haze x nl5 that people found so they can have something similar to the well known bud that was dominating that market.. although the buds from the original cuts are probably still making their rounds.

im not from out there so really dont know much about it and cant speak from experience but thats just what makes sense to me.

i got a pheno from JJ's nigerian haze that sounds exactly like what yall are describing.

also if a lot of this haze is/was grown in florida i wonder if it could be the sativa part of the og kush since theres a theory that og kush originated from florida. that church smell is buried in that og fuel for sure and it has an epic high.. that would be insane, prolly not what it is at all but that crossed my mind. i wonder how this uptown haze would be crossed to a potent kush like bubba.. find a 50/50 pheno, that would be something special i'd imagine.

but damn, i cant wait till all states can have a medical scene that way yall NY folks wont have to buy from street dealers on a corner in harlem.. doesnt sound fun to me as i get older. and yall can get more of a variety then just hazes.. altho i bet theres a lot of sours now. prolly subpar and not grown well but i always picture all the top shelf nugs in nyc to be sour or haze. someone needs to get these commercial growers an og kush clone.

anyone else that has experience with this piff run JJ's nigerian?

For what it's worth, and like I mentioned in the Moby Dick thread, I've got a pheno right now that is pure uptown haze, as far as taste, and high is concerned. The buds are a little denser and frostier than the legit NYC Haze, but as far as taste, smell, and effect is concerend, I've found my holy grail.

I also found it interesting someone else mentioned widowhaze as being the piff, as that's what Moby Dick is supposedly. It's straight frankincense and murr, actually more profound than all the various Hazes I've had in nyc.

Not sure where you got your info from but BOEL had nothin to do with Ohaze, The haze brothers (3 actual brothers) were the ones who brokered much of it an id imagine with them being from new jersey that any haze that made it way to NYC came from them .

I do agree with the theory of our NYC haze being from Santa cruz haze bagseed

As for kush having any similar tones or being related i dont see that at all ,but i do think a SCMK or Afghani ksuh would be a sick cross to our uppies

Your whole post was Great and i agree with for the most part ,the backround isnt know or cared about by 98% of these growers ,the quality differ for several reasons and sadly the franks is becoming more like christmas dinner

Now id like to say much respect but this opinion has come from many that all the NYC haze comes from florida,Id say unless your from NYC you cannot comment on this without first hand knowledge.I know for fact that there is haze being grown in NYC aswell as comin in from FL.

Best wishes on the future plans of the project

this dude is a joke, "Id say unless your from NYC you cannot comment on this without first hand knowledge". This coming a couple years after this guy: starts a thread about original SANTA CRUZ haze( doesnt know too much about it), and by the end of the thread he has an article in TY magazine printed as THE authority on the subject!!

ive never seen anyone so excited by the smell of cat pee before. Hey Big dwerb, my 68 year old hippie aunt lives in s. side chicago, she has 6 cats and steady burns incense. You would love it.

And just for the record i am far from a mean person. but after spending a couple hours reading that o haze thread; and seeing you repeatedly talk crazy about shit you have only read about or heard second or third hand and then act like YOU'RE the authority, i cant take it. you acted like you knew more about toms haze (a cali strain) then TOM, but tell people, "unless your from NYC" dont say shit about the frankies. like anyone cares.

To the ic commnty, i apoligize for doing this, on my word i wont do it again. I joined to try and learn from the many many extremely talented growers and when i can, add relevant info from my experience in organic farming. b4 sstarting to post ive done a good bit of reading on here and this has built for a minute. i dont feel BH is here for the same reason, i think you want to one-up everybody and tell us 'how it really is'. seacrest out

bigherb ain't a joke. Good dude...passionate about his research. Probably has some knowledge of what he's talking about. He's not trying to one up anybody. A lot of his info has been confirmed by the older generation...the dude is into his herb

You had your little rant...feel better now? Not everyone communicates the same way...and most of us are stoned on high grade...grain of salt goes a long way broham. If he still bothers you so much...put him on ignore..and you'll never see him again

apology accepted

Real deal Piff still gets top dollar and sometimes more per pack than real deal Chems, Diesels and OGK's over here on the east coast.....not many online people have access to the cut it seems. It's the fucking truth when dialed.

I'm looking forward to making some Piff bho real soon!
