Uptown was a big part of my coming up in the NYC trade, glad to see/hear of someone growing it. Thanks for the history info ART, its a big city but the world of top quality commerical is very small and its a pleasure to see so many people on hear that know what the Piff is about. I'd love to see an S1 or hybrid put into play, those genetics are the "purple haze" of my generation, truly a personal grail in its own right. good show.

this thread is a dope throw back, I grew up in newark, smoked pep all the time, first one hit wonder, made me feel like i was walking in puddles, also all the bomb dro they used to have was basically citral, now its beasters, then the branson and the (uptown haze) we used to call skatey eighty or the 189 came around, that was some diesel smoke, used to go into queens and grab 20s the size of your palm from a bunch of l.k's i knew, its good smoke, up there in the rankings, now a couple of my friends move it, i have access to the clones, but its really not my style anymore, i have no patience and have found a diesel indica hybrid i found from a bag of seeds given to me by a friend, it has better trich coverage and finishes in 8 weeks or less

yea.......cuz it'd be awful to have piff in seed form finally. let's just run out and cross it with everything and water it down a little more. i've been tryin to get some good street haze going for YEARS, in love with this shit my whole life, now im too far to enjoy it as much as i'd like. and until i end up with a clone which i don't see happening, i'm gonna ride that train like the path.

selfing is a fine way to get exactly what you want, and work with it from there.

mad, check out some plant biology. Selfing is a dead end road of severe inbreeding based on artificial mutations. It will get you some interesting smoke, but it is useless for creating reliable seedlines.

If you want anything good you have to work at it.

i want my piff. not a new hybrid line based off of it.(def not talking about AOMF here, but we all know two years after he puts something out, thats all we will see at auctions.). im just saying that genetic "dead-end" is exactly where i want to be. Plus, it's not like the you couldn't just cross it out later and expand those geentics in your new cross.
