the first link is a ring flash, it attaches to the front of the lens and provided a balanced even lighting to the subject
the 2nd link is just a regular flash head that would be mounted on the hot shoe of your camera, with the diffuser lowered (notice that extra plastic flap over the flash)

i think you would like the first one better for what you are close up shooting or even better something like this
twin light.jpg

the lights are on swivels and it gives you a lot more control over your shadows/light
is that a little light box youve made in the bottom picture?
that looks pretty sweet

Yeah, but seems out of my budget. I will give a try something from aboves and play with the lightbox in the spare time.

I am about to take both. Should be plenty to learn from and work with. In the last case I can also get adapter and use both ath the same time if needed.

For larger magnification more light is appreciated.

Also ordered 3d prints for 4x lens and pentacon 18/50.

Autotune filmic rgb levels for these pictures does not make sense in Darktable. I have to look for another workflow or software.

In the meantime sharing CBG flower Snowy White from Medicuana, JPGs from the camera.

ISO and manual mode is easy. Playing with light, white balance more difficult but now thats have to be my favourite type of videos on YT.

Trying to learn basics of RAWs edits.

shooting in raw is great and gives you the most information off the sensor
get some good editing software and have fun with it
i would turn down your exposure in your original shots, but thats just me

I get 3d printed adapters today. Some shoots with 4x lens, here focus stacking might have even more sense.
