what f-stop are you shooting at?
focus stakcing is a great way to get that depth of field you could not normally get
start with a good tripod and a rail to take the best stacked shots

I'm using biological Microscope Lens 4X Objective Lens 160mm Achromatic Objectives Lens 185 Conjugate Distance with DIY adapter. Maybe I can give it a try DIY 1 or 2 different apertures for smaller f-stop, have to google first.

I do agree, proper mounting rack should be one of the next parts to the setup. My tripod gets wobbly at that magnification.

you want to get a focus rail so you can make fine adjustments for stacking
another thing would be to get a remote trigger is you arent already using one, or set your camera to time mode so the action of pressing the button does not introduce unwanted movement

looks like you are having fun and i hope you are having a great summer!

Thanks for the suggestion!
Not sure if I can get remote trigger for my camera tbh. I'm using mode with 2s delay after pressing the button to lower the shaking effect.

a 2s delay is good
as you have seen at that magnification, even the slightest movement can effect clarity of your shots

I managed to find one, wouldn't hurt to give it a try Time Lapse Intervalometer Timer Remote Control Shutter Release for Canon Nikon Sony Panasonic Olympus Fijifilm Contax
Especially for 4x shots

that looks focus rail expensive, a simple one works just as well
velbon makes decent gear, but look for one with measurements print on it
/i guess exact measurements arent critical here but its nice to see 1cm marks

that is very nice, it has not only forward/backward scale but side to side
i dont really need the lateral motion but it would be nice to have if its in the budget

I'm leaving Instagram account. The idea is to create small portfolio and shoot some flowers for clubs -

I will still post here in high resolution as before, but ig should help with promotion aspect.

Some imported hash I get my hands on recently.
Tropical fruits mostly in my taste, does not have much "couch locking terpens".

Macros from mostly #33 Gelato, also previous run.
Even the plant was cut as younger one, resin heads are more mature.
