Hey Now, Man I love these monthly pics. I really don't mind those commercial pics , but sometimes I already seen these pic somewhere else. It those private grows, maybe CLF bulbs inside an old TV with unknown bag seeds that show a solid effort at growing are worth my vote, because of the effort made by the grower. I would like to know, when are the monthly polls taken,cause I hate missing a chance to vote. I live in Ohio, so I know my vote on International Cannagraphic will be counted.

commerical? these are pics by the growers. These nominations arent about how hard it was to grow but the look of the outcome. And i believe the poll from next months nominations should be up soon. Also, what does you living in Ohio have anything to do with IC?

Hey Now, Yea, these are pics, prettiest one wins, like it's a Miss America contest. However, when the grower has a huge grow, has spent thousands to produce a commercial product,and might not even smoke at all, it just does'nt impress I.
Then there that guy with one clone, one clf bulb, lives in a small apartment, and produces a delicious cola. He did'nt get caught, and did'nt spend a small fortune, and the grower actually gonna smoke the bud himself. That ought to considered as well.
Reign of Terror, I'll think you musta been a brown-nose at school. Sat in front of the teacher desk and polished the apples. In Ohio, when you vote in public elections, maybe your vote won't be counted. I think at IC I can rest assured that all votes are counted. That why I hate to miss a monthly poll. Vote any way you want. I still think the effort of the grower should considered. Beauty is in the complete picture, not just skin deep. If this monthly pic poll is just a marketing tool for commercial growers,well
go figure this out yourself. I know a real pretty bud, might be only that,pretty; sometimes a good smoking bud might not look very pretty. Oh, I grow for good smoke to burn, not for a pretty product to sell. That just me.

I got the Ohio joke, but I disagree with your logic. Id say its more impressive to go all out, with 5000 watts of power, use great camera skills and take one of the nicest pics Ive ever seen, then it is to get a small cfl and grow one 18 nich plant in a box. The latter could be done by anyone, the former takes some skills IMO.

When it comes down to it, it doesn't matter if it was grown inside, outside, in the closet, in a warehouse, by the best grower or worst grower. It doesn't even really matter how good it actually is. The only thing I think that matters here is the picture. It doesn't matter if you have the best weed and the hugest setup out there, if the picture is no good you won't even get nominated. Same thing following your logic, if the grower is the coolest guy just doing a sick little scrog inside of his sock drawer with compact flouros and spent a lot of love and energy in his grow, in the end for the the picture is the only thing that should be judged.

Now outside of the contest, I agree with you. It is always nice to see someone who loves growing and believes in what they are doing. But I think this isn't just limited to small grows. I for one love the Ganja and feel it could solve a lot of the worlds problems. I put a lot of time and energy in to my grows no matter the size. I currently have a medium sized grow but I didn't put any less love in to it than when I did closet grow.

That and I am a photographer so I think for this the photo is what is being judged. Others may have a totally different opinion on the matter.

^^ yeah what he said. I do sometimes go by difficulty or other factors at times though, when its close, but your right.

closet funk, im pretty sure that you need the thread, you dont need strain name because sometimes there is no name, but the thread is a must
