haha SO TRUE BIG DAWG..thanks. does your unit give room temp?

the cppm just gives the co2 ppm value and the min max of it. my ac is set to a specific temp and rarely fluctuates more then 5 degrees + or -. the dehuey has its own value and my meter says the room is always 5% lower then what i set the unit too. it rarely fluctuates at all.

i dont know. i was going to ask you what your thoughts were. whatever will have them performing best. let me know what you think.

well i topped the 2 i had..twice..
so it would be interesting to see how they do untopped.up to you..
and i flipped them when they reached 14-16" tall, right after they showed preflowers.

Coming along real nicely in here, Phillthy. Nice work man. From top to bottom, all looks very good.

I know you're in 3gal bags but what soil are you using? And how much? I've been a little unsure on how much to pick up for a run w/3g bags myself and would appreciate any info on how things worked out for you.

Take it easy. :joint:

thanks for stopping buy and for the kind words rasputin. i am basically using a similar recipe that blazeoneup used in his grows. i added some kelp meal and some worm casings and use a different promix.

2cf MG Organic Garden Soil
2cf Promix BX
1 cup bone meal
1 cup blood meal
1/2 cup worm casings
1/2 cup kelp meal (i don't always use this)
1/2 cup dolomite lime powder
10-20% chunky perlite

i may add budswel 0-7-0 early in flower too.

i also start seeds in fox farm light warrior. once they get some good roots, i transplant them into 1gal bags of the soil. after about 20-30 days of veg i transplant to the 3 gal bags for flower. if it is a longer flowering strain there are no issues. if it is a real short flowering strain i will flush a week before i take the plants.

super clean grow!
you have a bunch of things goin on that i wanna follow - the switch to mh late in flower for one. the co2 generator hooked up to the light mover is awesome! i saw that and thought how co2 is denser than air and sinks down - so basically youre crop dusting your plants with co2 as the mover moves. im sure the fans disperse it around but still...

thanks localhero ;)

the co2 on the mover was sort of a fix for lack of room. so far so good though. every time i go in the level at plant height is between 1300-1600. hopefully the plants stay happy...

a little update. i wasn't happy with the fit or the heat that the 8 bulb flouro unit was giving me so i ran some insulated flexi duct to my 400w mh and lit it up today. i moved my plants in veg and the rooted clones under it. temps dropped by almost 4 degrees ;) i will move the flouros after this run and place another 400w mh under this one and air cool it back into the ac controlled flower room too. it's all coming together now. :joint:

some pics after a lil spray down...

Looking good in there, Phillthy. Nice clean space. Surprised to hear that the 400mh brought temp's down in relation to the 8bulb fluoro set.

Clones look well & the veg plants appear to be ready for a nice growth spurt. I wish my panda went up as smooth as yours. I have tacky, annoying little patches of cardboard littered across the walls so I could staple the panda up to the interior wall of the room. Looks a little silly compared to spaces like yours.

those flouros throw heat and i had no way to really remove that heat in an efficient manner. the hooded 400 has all the heat sucked right out of it while drawing the air into the room. the difference was major. in a spot that tight i found i need to air cool for the desired temps. i will be increasing the amount of vents for passive intake into the veg spot this week so if that helps i may still use the flouros... if not then they go.

i had planned my room out pretty thoroughly (always room for tweaks) and spent many man hours (by myself) constructing it. sometimes i wish i had gone with a tent....lol. try some double sided tape for your panda... use the good sticky 3m stuff. that may help neaten things up a bit. i used spray glue and duct tape. only used spray glue at the top so i could peel it off if necessary later. if it is an interior wall of a home i dont recommend using spray glue... stick with the tape ;)

thanks for stopping by!

well it went to 5 degrees above the flower room to the exact same temp and thats with inadequate passive vents. i will install the new ones tomorrow. worked out real well imo.

btw, buds have doubled in size in 4 days!!
