Ph problem with pics

I just want some confirmation that this was caused by pH fluctuations, and not a continuing problem.

cmm is cal mag max, the rest is pretty easy to figure

todays pics.
I am concerned about the white spots. There is also some light burn that i cannot really control, other than to move the plant around the 'hot spot'






It got too hot in the cabinet (prob 83-85F) for atleast 1 day before the airpump was not functioning, and was still high for at least 2-3 more days.

So, was it pH, or a continueing problem?

hmm that's difficult, can you show us pics that show the actual colours? Maybe take one heavy affected leaf of?
I do see a little fert burn though

well, my question was more about, is that the type of damage that pH fluctuation can cause?
Maybe it was the pH that locked out copper, or something similar.

I can tell that the leaves are not growing perfectly (the left side, or right side of the leaf, is growing faster than the other side).

Ill take some more pictures, but i am colorblind, so taking a picture of the 'true color' is harder than it sounds. Ill use a few different flash settings, post in a few.

After the new res, that i did not add H2O2 to, the pH 6-7 hours later is 7.12

I added 35ml H2O2
and 9mlpHdown.
was 5.95
20 minutes later its 6.2

whats the problem then unicorn?

your feeding...if having so much fluctuation..simple really...your ph going up your not hot enough...ph going down to hot...balance you must find...fuck the feeding schedule...observe the plants and how they eat

here is a pic without the HPS on, hopefully it helps.

right now im thinking of purchasing some SM-90 tomorrow. Im looking around for more info, i know it interacts bad with some mycorrhizal product. But that makes sense.

agreed.

Your plants don't look THAT bad and it looks as if you don't have much time left. Try flushing and/or just finishing it out...IMO

EDIT: oh and that is def not PH

I am about 80% sure that is a boron def.

all the feedings are with new water, its not like i keep pumping nutes into the same rez..


I was planning on changing her res the day i found the pump not working. I did change the res, but I obviously had some sort of root rot. I did not attempt to fix the problem other than the new res. I tried again with a new rez, 2 days later. The next day the pH was rising again, so i added the H2O2, and it seemed to stop rising. I figured the pH was stable, and i killed the beneficals in the Liquid Karma, so i started a fresh rez, without the H2O2.

The CMM or Cal Mag Max is a new edition, but I applied it to another DWC, that is growing in the same space (different chamber though) This other DWC has a stable pH, so i dont know.

5.95 40 minutes ago, then 6.2, now 6.47

ive never seen this happen, and i watch them all the time.

what r u measuring the pH with, some test only give you a ballpark so maybe it has been the same all along...

did you ever add any lime? that will bring it up to around 7...

lol mites...ph problems...

I still say you have a boron prob, the solution was with my last post
