Spoke to soon on...... The No grow dramma.
I just noticed the top of one of the colas was bent over 90 degrees on the large #4
Loompa headband x Sunshine Daydream. The wife and I fixed it with a true team effort :cuss:.Haha with our children and dogs she has only a loving hand but with the plants she is a brute sometimes.Im hey go easy!Stop!Good Lord Woman!
These testers are all in one another's business. Each branch and bud is like a grappling hook to anything near them.Holding the cola, picking up the pot and detangling the poor girl to get out was difficult maneuver in itself

The fix
So I took a piece of 12-2 wire snaked it in next to the stalk and tied with rubber bands.Basically making a splint.surprised I fixed it.too many buds for tape.Hard to even see the bend.

I thought I was going to lose a portion of the cola.Dread

I am eyeing the other plants now.:nono:

Wow Nickman Thanks alot.
I remember reading those dreaded grow/smoke report templates with all the numbers and pre choices thinking so much data and so little info given.

The pictures lighting is just getting lucky at time with good natural light. On somber days it can be hard to get a good expression of the plant. That what I look for a representative of what the plants look like in person.

I have mentioned that I solely use vintage camera lenses from late 60s and early 70s.No modern lenses.I have a huge obsession with optics.
So I keep control of aperture, focus, flash power settings and shutter speed.
The ISO is the only thing that I set on auto.
For me if I do that then I take the pictures instead of the camera taking them.
Nothing fancy...No smoke and Mirrors...Grow transparency:)

Today's Fun

Today's Fun

Howdy
So I got half the testers caged in today and going to try and get some watering finished before lights out.I think I'm short on stakes...Bumper.
Took some pics of the Durango Og and did a little assessment of her maturity. Her trichomes are looking mighty milky on her upper level.I did not have great light and will dive into her assessment further tomorrow.I will be looking for amber. That's when I pull the plug.

The secret of a Quality shot are always optics. Vintage lenses are the best ever.Especially old japan stuff.
Anyway you must have some killing strains and a big green thumb like yours, to raise the perfection :tiphat:

Durango OG - La Plata Labs Alien Og x Alien BubbaDay 60
These came in the form of a private gift. Not from breeder.
Grower Bio.I like long walks on the beach ,Sunsets And Nancy Drew Mysteries.
Head Shot
picture.php

Height 35"
Smell aromatically-Dumpster
Smell Rub and sniff Sour Orange
Sticky icky the touch
Large Fan Leaf Blades count between 10
Temps 85 days 66 Nights
Light cycle 12/12
600watts in 3x3x6.6' tent
Watering only when needed.No overwatering
Rich as a fart soil mix.Still a great mix
Standing water 6.9 ph .Hitting with teas
5 gallon trade size pots
So the Durango Og Well I dropped only 3 seeds and caught this single girl.So I will sprinkle more in future grows.
She was my sweet surprise because she took the longest to show sex in pre flowed and she had me thinking male for a spell.
Overall structer
picture.php

During her veg grow she seem to move along at a slower pace as did the Darlins.
I would call her a slow vegger for sure but very problem free….low stretch. This plant was not cut.I trimmed a smidge of the bottom for watering ease. Topping and lolly popping is not needed…..lower buds are plump and Frosty. The whole plant was productive
Lowest Tear Bud
picture.php

I would say by day 30 flower I became aware of her frost and heaving midsection. She seem to be on a fast track for finish.
Mid body bud Clusteres
picture.php

Soon after that I noticed that she had some oddities in her. First one I noticed was a bud growing out of multiple fan leafs and upon further inspection of her I found a single leaf growing out of the center of a fan leaf. This mutation was something that got me even more entreated with her.
Second tear bud

Durango Og part II of report

Durango Og part II of report

Durango OG - La Plata Labs

I never took a cutting of this plant so I will attempt to reveg her. Hopefully I will have some success. I did take some photos of her. I did my best on such a dismal day. They don’t do her justice.

My Artsy Stuff

I find her very unique in many ways. Her smell is a big one. She smells like a dumpster aromatically. Yes a dumpster….someone else came in and said she smelt like trash. I find it funny that such a smells can intrigue me so much.
Skunk… roadkill… burnt rubber…these smell translates in to sought after cannabis aromas. Ha-ha Yeah the Durango reeks of restaurant dumpster.
Overall Night shot

I have not stood over this plant tending to her need…..I just put baby in the corner and let her grow.So yeah she is easy going.

She is almost done but not chopped yet....But close

I used to shoot with an old pentax k1000 and a nikon and I still have the lens that I took pics of my children with. That same lens I just used to do my last report. It was given to me by my father 20 years ago and made in the early 70s.I love that
They made some Masterpieces that have been pushed to the wayside in the wake of the digital era.
But my number one thing is Great light.Yeah simply Amazing light.
As always thanks for your input and encouragement.:tiphat:
Great stuff Laza

That Durango OG looks like some killer kill... very nice looking plant.

That's what I always try to do when I take pics of the plants... it's just very hard for me because the lighting really sucks when ur taking pics in the basement...!!!...

I shoot from my iPad...

Hey Nick
Does your Ipad have a flash? That can help in low light situations. You can grab a drop light and get a led bulb from Hd for supplemental lighting too.
Bring up stairs at the end of the day when the sun is lower and get some sweet subtle light coming through a window.
I try to work with what I own and the environment I'm in.
The great thing is if it is not working out erase and try something new.Ipad and cell phones can take stunning photos with good light.

Thanks for the kind word:)

So I thought I would Throw up a pic of me in the middle of my germination/planting process.
First thing is I only bring out one line at a time.,,,the rest stay in another room entirely.
So seven seeds means 7 stickers means 7 cups. The stickers I preprint and the cups I write the strain name as a back up. The knife is used for drain in k-cups.
The germ bags have strain tags on the inside of the bags and stickers on the outside.I use the same ideology on them....No Mix ups!

Now I wait for the tails to get around an inch long....Just befor they through their cap.I use the thermometer to stab a hole in the soil customized to the shape and length of the tap root(I find this one act is an art within itself).
Leaving the seed cap barely covered with soil....I found with this method that there are no screw ups and the seed will pop like a switchblade within 24 hours or less.

I use the tweezers to tear the paper towel away from the tap root when they burrow through a ply or2.

We both do about the same with the germination process...
that's so funny that you also use that thermometer, I use the same exact thing to do the same...

I like how you print the stickers...
