Hey waxy
every time you pop seeds and grow you come across males and you have them more than half way there. You just need to keep them anouthern 20+ days and you have your pollen.
Keeping them long term is a personal choice. The pollen you get off one nice male can last you a long time if stored right.
That pollen can be placed on individual buds of many many plants.
one small bud pollinated will give 50 or 60 viable seeds.
If you keep a male in veg .You could take a cutting and flower in a micro grow with a cfl.
extract in safe fanless area.place in small sealed container and apply pollen on branches with 1/4" paint brush.
Spray plants non pollinated branches and buds with H20 and Clean everything used in project with water and a little bleach.
You will be mailing out beans before you know it:biggrin:

Waxi you know your environment better than anyone else Out door temps,House yard Neighbors, spring fall sun rise sun set.You can work out 20 days and some of that 20 days they can spend in normal flowering tent.

If you took a rubbermaid trash can and put a piece of plexiglass over it in the early fall. You could keep next to house.
Place brick at bottom and put with other cans outside.

You could bring barrel into bathroom with a cover on it.
Then harvest pollen in dry tub or shower just wearing shorts.
When your finished just jump in wash up.

I always deal with males in the morning and never wear shoes.
My clothing goes into wash(sox n Dware) and I go take a shower before heading into flower tent.

You will end up find the best process for you.

Great Carnivore score. The appollo11 cross tests I did for Bodhi produced some fire. Dj Blueberry and Chem Guava

Ok She is a hot mess.....Her structure is some place between her much taller symmetrical sister and a sexy Moppy and floppy.
Putting on weight #Jenny Craige
View Image

She reminds of that girl at the party that's a little tipsy and a little disheveled giving you that big smile and shine eyes ..... and all you think is that WOW I think she digs me...(◡‿◡✿)...Yeah classy but a bit of a Hot mess too.
You can see her lower buds producing and dragging down branches.

View Image

Here is here one of lower flowers. She seems to be Producing well from her top to here bottom and the Kallax are like those bean sprouts you get in your chow mein.Thick and course.....stacked with in her frost.

View Image

I was wrestling with her yesterday and she stinks of rotting purple punch....aromaticity and she has weight so I cant toss her around anymore....she is a lady of course.. Haha

View Image

Her buds a quite striking in person and sticky to the touch.

Having fun and loving the grow.

Nice ph, gotta love the COM Quoddy blend, I've trucked it half way across the country before. Nothing like it where I was going. Huckleberry was quite popular in the mtn region for awhile, havent heard anything about it in a year or more though. Still looking good!

I am going to be using a lot more Coast of maine for different soils components.I was using a company out of NH for soil and WC.I think that source is dried up.
Next time you have a truck load I will feed you lunch....
The Huckleberry is oregon strain...not positive.
Dynasty seeds still has a Huckleberry IBL for sale...I need to vault that one.
A link to 2015 HuckleBerry http://www.dynastyseeds.com/strains/oregon-huckleberry-ibl/

Yeah it could be were the huckle came from, same state as Dyntasy, pretty sure it was the clone though, few friends were running it. Don't have to truck the COM anymore living in state.

Yeah Roosta
No doubt that others are holding it privately...I have only seen Professor P from dynasty working it.He is a great source in fact I just saw up for sale Huckleberry Space Queen up for sale 25.15 a pack.
I don't think we have to go out and spend 150 buck pop for solid genetics.Im not saying I wont pay a couple bucks for something I want....its just people can get great stuff on the cheap.....Dollares dont =Quality with some of these smaller chill Breeders.

The people of the Great state of Maine are salt of the earth old school Yanks.....they grew up living and Breathing 4-H Club.So they have been growing Organic since they showed up on the Mayflower.

Compare Frog Farm to Coast of maine for a good Laugh...old school Yank ingenuity

The one I have has me captivated.I did some of my research on instagram for the Huckleberry Kush V3.There are some Beauties that are being grown out...IG is a great Source to expand a strain search.
Nice score with the MRS Universe....shit I have not seen that up for sale in a poke.I think that is a super greasy plant line.
Thanks for showing up and let me know when you give those seeds a dirt nap ....F2 Candidate...

Thanks Brother

Man unreg we or I got here late

Shit.....You are right on time Windy.I always appreciate the camaraderie and I usually run my test privately until plants start showing preflower.I will update Bodhi on progress or problems.
So your straight up on time.:)

My apology for a missed response

My apology for a missed response

ph,

First, let me say thank you for your "long ass answer". :)

I remember when I was in school, one of my teachers said to me,
"the more information you can give me on your tests and papers, the better I know you know the subject and therefore the better grade I can give you.". I'm not looking to grade you here or like that, but my point is that one can (almost...) never give too much information.

So, again, thank you for being so complete.

I am reminded by what you say about time spent in the garden equaling best results. Thank you for that reminder. I need to spend more time in mine.

Your comments serve as a guide to all who read them just how important that really is. Backed up by the picture proof in your plants. Hard to imagine them being any healthier. They're glowing. Just gorgeous. Looking forward to your update and more pics of your beautiful plants. Great work.

BTW, I did a search for that Lobster compost and of all places, I found you can get it at TrueValue hardware stores for $12 for a 1 cu.ft. bag. They even ship it free to the local store for that price. You just order it online from the TrueValue hardware website and they ship it right to your local store. I couldn't believe it. Even us cali guys out in the middle of nowhere can get it...YAY! So, since I have that store literally just down the street from me, guess what I am going to do...:)

Can't say enough for your comments and explanatory details.
Keep them coming and equally as "long-winded".
The devil's in the details, my friend.

I'll be around.
:tiphat:
oneofus

Im am trying to give as much info in a sense of transparency and to assist other growers by showing my methods. So many contributers that have come on here have years over me.I am not an expert just a student and explorer.
Some time info is not shared just grows documented....Transparency

Infact My first organic soils recipes came by the way of Dank Frank and my understanding of Organic soil came by way of Microbe Man.:)
Here is Microbe Mans web page.http://www.microbeorganics.com/ is very good stuff.
Frank's many recipies https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=258168 very informative.

Thank you for all your encouragement and I'm glad to hear that you can get access to the lobster compost....Good old True Value;)
I just used some in my Flowering tea that I am brewing today.

Per 5 Gallon
1.5 cups of worm castings-ideal organix
1.5 cups lobster Compost
3.5 unsulphured Molasses
3 Tablespoons of epsom salt
1.5 tablespoons bat guano fox farm brand
3 tablespoons Kelp meal
3 Tablespoons Neptune's Harvest Fish Fertilizer 2-4-1
Brewed in 75 degree temp for 26 hours
Simple fish pump with double stones.I did have a more elaborate set up it just was to noisy in the winter time.I could not sleep with it going.

Ideal Organix is the soil and WC that I use.Very nice Material to grow with.

Sorry about late response oneofus and give Trout my best if you talk to him.

Peace PH
