From those pictures it did not look like they were under watered, but when an underwatered plant.. the only way to really tell is to either lift the pot if in a pot/ bag or wait until the plant shows, when a plant is underwatered and it starts to show it's hard to tell if that is caused by underwatering or what not.

But it is normal for them to droop around certain times and the droopiness looks just the same as under watered a lot of times

hello again :) ive i got new pics finally, i think i might have burned the chocolope a bit with the light...and she looks bad :( dont know why she just doesnt seem happy :S

unlike the white berry which is happy and even blushing lol...btw does she look ready for the cutting?i got eh microscope and they all seem to be milky but no amber ones...but she seems finished to me :S

btw here are the several leaf problems i saw on the chocolope...its everything from the maturation of the plant?

how do things look?not too bad i hope :S
(i dont know if heat was one of the causes, but i already raised the light anyways even though it doesnt score more than 29cº right on the peak of heat)

And last time it really was lack of water, im not used to water such big buckets...hapened again but nothing serious as i see them everyday...how much wateryou put on 25 liters of dirt??:S after 3 liters it starts pouring out...

thanks a lot for the help :)

hi there,
your pheno looks like one of mine. smells fruity with a hint of dank? dank like some kinda haze or sour something... anyway, she likes her soil on the dry side, and rather heavily ferted with lots of N til the flush.
for a plant that size i would give her 1.5 or 2 liters every 2nd day in that size pot, unless she droops sooner, adjust SLIGHTLY til u get it right. use your gh nutes, they're good and she likes them, at 800 or so ppm every watering at ph 6 in promix. 6.2 or so for soil with stuff added. every 3rd or 4th watering give plain ph'd water.

chocolope is a very unstable strain, i cracked 5 beans and have 5 phenos, 1 was almost pure cannalope, 1 was a very tall very skimpy sativa dom with a skunky/choco smell/taste, and 2 fell somewhere in between. the last one is a trifoliate, but the characteristic doesn't transfer to the clones. the smoke on this one is amazing, smells like melon with a hint of choco but it's not that sweet, and not skunky at all. she's a bitch to clone, and a bitch to veg - thin branches and crap structure/shape, but great yield and smoke :joint:

hope this helps

yeah its just like that, some super fruity aroma with haze in it...how long it lasted for you?

so what i see its just the plant starving?how does she look compared to yours after 56 days?lol

thanks...i really find her to be unhappy with me :$

yes, that pheno is an unhappy bitch, compared to some of the others. the seed plant was ready at 9 weeks, but the clones only take 8 weeks.

yeah, she's starving but also has wet feet. she gets less water than my other plants, but higher ppm. in a 1.5 gallon bucket of promix, the other phenos get about 1L at 650-700 ppm every 2nd day, this one gets 800-900 ppm but only 0.75L

i like your gh nutes though, some strains that don't like much N in flower just cut the micro for a while, but DON'T do that for this girl. she likes plenty of N all the way through, and a bit of a calcium hog but enough to have to add it, for my tap water anyway.

fwiw my tap water is 80ppm and ph 6.8 - don't know what's in it.

just use your 0-8-16 at 800 like i said and she'll be fine, just remember you ph.

your girl looks like she needs 7-9 days, but i wouldn't wait that long, you should stop feeding right now. just flush her and chop at 60

that will be a bad harvest :( i was hoping she would have at least more 10/15 days to fatten up...im trying to clone her though lol...
Hope to have more success in the next grow as i would love to get the chocolate pheno...you got that pheno btw?

oh and will leave her without water and will try to low the ph which i think is at 7/7.5

wont feed her anymore in that case...probably will be chopped down at the same time as the white berry...

some of the fruity phenos still throw new pistils long after being ready. by ready i mean at least 20-30% cloudy trichs.

now here's what's strange about the phenos:
2 of the ones i got have ZERO fruit smell. very sativa looking, thing leaf blades. they are very very skunky, but not sweet in any way, more like roadkill. no chocolate smell or taste either. i was like wtf one parent is no choco thai or cannalope? lol. one of these is amazing though, a keeper. the other is too skinny and stretchy but similar product. 58-60 days for both

one is like yours, very cannalope, indica looking, with a hint of dank/haze/something smell. 55-58 days, after that she starts getting dumpy, even though still throwing new pistils. decent smoke, not keeping her.

one is like pure cannalope, total fruit, nothing else. also indica looking, ready quick at 54-56 days. decent smoke, but not amazing. this one is the least frosty. no chocolate

the last one is the trifoliate. she had 3 starter leaves and 3 branches at every node, though some of the extra branches were kind of stunted/weird. densest buds of the 5 phenos i got, u need to control R/H. she is very cannalope, indica looking, no dankness/haze smell, but something i can't place, maybe like mint or something. anyway this one DOES taste of chocolate on the exhale. very very nice. very hard to clone, and i never lose clones. shitty vegger, thin branches, mutations all the time. basically a shitty plant. but AMAZING smoke. lol figures :joint: she's ready in 8 weeks

the thing is, choco thai is supposed to SMELL like chocolate lol not taste like it. and the plants that lean toward the mom have nothing to do with choco thai. the ones that lean toward the dad, are defo cannalope.

so, as nice as some of the smoke is, i declare shenanigans on DNA, there is no coco thai in chocolope and the cannalope just looks like cindy to me. i think they just got lucky on some phenos that are similar to my mutant (without the mutaions haha) by chucking some of their cindy- erm..i mean cannalope "haze" pollen on some skunky sativa

lol?

the flower times i posted are for CLONES of these seed plants - for the actual seed plants add 5-7 days for all

yeah mine doest have choco neither, but it smells like heaven though, i will keep on buying these seeds until i get one which smells like choco! just hope they not lying about them lol...

...most the trichs are now are cloudy but not amber...sativas are cut when all are milky?

i already cut the white berry maybe i could have waited more one day or 2 but it was getting very hot in the greenhouse so i decided to cut her off before she would start loosing quality....

the chocolope is still looking like hell...but im giving her less water to compensate...lol

I love my chocolope!!! I had the cannalope pheno and decided to discontinue it... but I also have a very sativa looking pheno that is great. She smells very fruity with a hint of sour. I don't really smell the chocolate while it is flowering, but it comes out during the drying/curing process. I harvest at 60-63 days. On both phenos the leaf tips curled down their whole life, but I didn't experience any yellowing (until the wash). I believe the curling is due to low humidity. I've only experienced this with the chocolope. Raise the humidity and the leaves straighten out (Don't do it though... in flowering). They seem to grow fine with the curled leaves. Curled leaves = lower humidity = nicer trichs.

Just found this thread. Chocolope grows are a bitch to find because the search facility on this site wont let you search for threads with "Chocolope" in the title. Ridiculous if you ask me, if I encur a ban for that so be it. Anyway.

I've got a single femmed chocolope on the go, which I'm growing out for a buddy. One bean wonder, hoping for a nice pheno. Currently been vegging around five weeks.

She's a sativa leafed girl, but with super tight nodes. I'm assuming she's going to stretch like buggery in flower. She's looking promising because there are visible trichs on the vegging leaves.

Almost since popping she exhibited the same weird leaf shape yours have. It looked like serious heat/dry issue, but mine was with a bunch of other plants, none of whom were too hot, or suffering from low humidity.

She was started in coco, and as I kept my nutes super-low at first, there is no way she was overfed. Nothing I did seemed to stop this weird shape forming in the developing leaves.

I put her from the Coco, into a Coco/Peat/Wormcast/Perlite soil-less mix. I've put absolutely no nutes in there, so the only food she's getting is the N from the wormcasts, and she's only just now after a couple of weeks in this mix showing me she needs some N.. so I don't think it's an underfeeding thing, either.

My only real theory is humidity.. but this girl must want it SUPER high, as all my other plants are fine and dandy. I also can't see how the medium changing has helped with that, but it's definately improved a bit. Maybe because the top of the dirt stays wetter for longer.. god knows..

Would be interested to know how you're getting on with her.
