The difference in Florida's 450PPM tapwater mainly calcium, and using R/O water in soil grows astounds amazesand flippin freaks me out!I did OK for 5 years with this tapwater, all the while looking at my dogs bowl and wondering when I'm gonna get smart.I've known R/O is necessary in hydro, not so much in soil.Well I'm teliing everyone it makes a difference you wont believe, your plants will be falling all over themselves with trichweight at 40 days..

Holy shit 450PPM. No wonder your plants liked the switch. Water here is only about 100 or so PPM and I still couldn't stabilize my hydro grow. Distilled is too spendy for hydro and I doubt apt folks would understand my need for an RO LOLOLOLOL!!!!

RO water would solve the posters problem though. Be nice to know what his water PPM is

I grew up in central FL I remember a friend who folks had a house on the beach in Daytona. The well was "sulphur water". Shit stank like..well shit. We showered in it but had to cook and drink with "bottled" water in those days. That well water turned everything black.

Check that electrical thread
