have you noticed any major differences between the two sources both when smoking on location and when growing out seeds?
Oh ya. My coastal plug, said the west coast northern commercial grows use hybrids of the older landrqces and that the jungle bud is untouched "non commercial " flower the indigenous people have grown for who knows how long?
The feel I got from all the phenos I grew in canada could have been colombian, mexican, African and Asian. Genetic mapping could only really tell what's going on. But that's what I've loved about seed grows, esp with unworked jungle bud. Variation to survive any form of environmental challenges

very interested in seeing what expressions pop up for you this year. Are you/have you been open pollinating the Peruvian? I noticed one of my plants last year was extremely stinky almost skunk like when vegging but when it flowered that disappeared and the flowers had zero trace of skunk or stink in them, just pure sweet peppery sativa goodness
Have you come across that as well?
Def very pungent skunk. Esp in the jungle down stream when they were harvesting and close to ripe plantsLooking good

Lots of expressions. I smell some Asian, African, Mexican and colombian in em. Strong lime pungency in most expressions

Mine are starting to get some stank that I can smell when walking by them. Very excited to see your expressions this year

They have been really happy in the ground but the cold and wet has continued for 2 weeks so not much action in growth but gawd do they Reek!

In order to get all my equitorials finished this year they started getting blacked out on the full moon summer solstice
I didn't realize it at first but they weren't getting enough water.
Now they get water 2 to 3x a day. They exploded

Dropped the ball a bit on this thread. But this year was just preservation.
Thank gawd I will have a wack of seeds from 2 Lime skunk specimens
The whole plants got bombed with pollen their whole flowering life so resin and even nose is a bit more subtle this season. All their energy has gone to seed production
Next year it will be loud skunk only as I've cracked the code and will only have 2 males again from 2 special plants.
Depending on the hybrids made this year will determine what I splash and how much I splash with gold dust as I really want a nice head stash of flower moving forward like this year

Needs a day or more of sweating still. Didn't realize until I dug in
