lookin great man... glad things are goin well... hope u have great harvest this year.. Dime

You as well, DimeBag! Your well-wishes are both appreciated and mirrored back atcha :D As much as I love her I already I can't wait for next year!!

I'll hold off on the photos for a day so they don't all look the same :) Just a bit of a bump as I don't think a lot of people saw the latest photos yet.

I'm looking forward to next season even moreso now, it looks like I may have some -very- nice genetics to work with. I just ordered a pack of Sour Diesel IBL from Rez (if only I could get some strawberry diesel!), and I'm actually hoping to get a good male from one of them. Why? Because I found a very nice person who is willing to share the Cheese with me! Hmmm, Sour Cheesel? :D Sounds good, but I definitely want to try the Cheese on it's own too. Also thought I may cross dad's unknown power strain with the Sour Deez and see how that comes out. But if I only get female Sour D's, well, I won't complain either :canabis: So next season, thanks to the niceness of some other med patients and the genius of Rez, I'm going to have some nice things growing. Maybe some new crosses! Stay tuned.. :joint:

Thats a very nice outdoor plant! How much longer till harvest time?? Keep up the good work!!!

Thanks, Babba, I hope so! You're one helluva outdoor gardener, so I take it as a big compliment mate! :joint: Good luck to you also, my friend! :)

SuperBudz: I'm estimating like 4-5 weeks. Hopefully more like 4 but I'll let her go longer if she wants to. Gotta let her reach her full potential! :D And thank you for the compliments!

Well, I gave her a couple days and did another pest check. Only 1 small hopper spotted and taken care of. Also had to brace a back limb as it was bowed over and almost touching soil.

The weather here has been PERFECT the past few days. Nice and sunny and warm in the day, getting dark earlier, and the nights/mornings have been COLD but with no frost! My baby is definitely getting frosty though, as she's been pumping out resin it seems. Trichome check today revealed a few of the more mature buds having around 25% amber on their bud leaves. Also revealed a ton of microscopic crystals covering the leaves! If these grow she's sure to be showing off her White Widow genes soon.

She's also started showing another trait, a new smell. Still spicy when you lightly pinch a bud and sniff your fingers, but the wafting smell of her totally smells like cat piss!! It took me a second to figure it out, but yeah totally cat pee. Not real cat pee though as we have none around and a dog that likes to chase them away from the yard, but i can only imagine it's similar to what the clone-only 'cat piss' smells like. It's subtle at first. but it's definitely there. My fiancee was brushing against the plant to get past it a few times and she had to change her clothes as our whole room was smelling like piss! Haha. I can only hope this means good things for her come harvest time. Not my favorite smell or anything of course, but if she makes it worthwhile when the flame is to her then it's worth it :) I'm definitely impressed at the trichome growth in just a couple days! Here's one photo I snapped, I think you can see the difference already, no? :joint:

Sorry for the lack of updates (for anyone who may actually still be watching here :D)!

Started a new job last week and has had me away from her during most of the daylight hours, and thus I haven't been able to snap many new photos. She's still developing nicely, with her calyxes totally coated in trichomes now. The upper colas glisten incredibly in the light! Her 'cat piss' aura smell hits you from about 6-8ft away now, and the spiciness she exhibited early in flowering has subsided a bit. I was hoping to pull her by October but she may not be ready, in which case I will wait until I have to.

No mold or mildew so far that I've seen or found. I did have to cut off one of the upper buds as I saw some bug damage on it and found a very small caterpillar (about 3-4cm long) inside. Doesn't look like he managed to grow much or get into any other buds, so I'm glad. Have yet to see any other damage so I think she is okay.

Anyhow, more pictures soon!

Oh great more pictures soon . Ill be watching. Looks like most stuph is getting pretty close. I have a plant being harvested today and tomorrow some that are within a cpl weeks and one that will prolly go a ways into november :) Thanks for sharing a very beautifuly grow with us.

Wamen, welcome back! :D

Babba and Disco: Thanks for stopping in guys!! Your presence on my thread makes me happy, and any grow compliment from the Babbas means a lot! Nam-myoho-renge-kyo!

I will try to snap some photos tomorrow morning before work so I can upload them tomorrow night when I get home. Only half or less of her stigmas have turned red, still tons of white. I'll have to do another trichome test soon, but I may have to go a ways into November too if she keeps maturing this slowly! Thankfully the rains have been mostly non-existant, with cold nights and sunny days. Makes for some great resining on the upper colas especially. I really gotta get a macro lens for my camera for better detail for you guys!

Okay, more tomorrow!

HI PERSONAL MEDS...i'm according with others in the list of compliments...and if i can make a bet to the harvest time i suppose the first weeks of november.(u can catch the first good moon cycle for the harvest form the 1st to 3rd of november)

when u talk about this:"She's also started showing another trait, a new smell. Still spicy when you lightly pinch a bud and sniff your fingers, but the wafting smell of her totally smells like cat piss!! It took me a second to figure it out, but yeah totally cat pee."

it's all about the pheno...i put ever lot of seeds to leave out this traits from my mommyes in veggie room.....i love only sweet and no pine-resins,no cat piss flavoured herb like u bro!!!

Nam-myoho-renge-kyo!

haha, i hear you fili my friend, thank you for the compliments! I like the sweeter smells myself too, although i do love the diesel smells also, but i agree on the piney and cat piss! However, I got this one from a clone at a medical dispensary, and not from seeds. So I wasn't sure what to expect and my other 2 clones didn't make it due to strange weather patterns that threw them into early flower at 1 week... Next season I will be using some of Rez's Sour Diesel IBL seeds so it will be much different! :D

I'd love to smell your garden, i'm sure it's sweet and divine! jah bless! :joint:

mossy and orange, nice to have you stopping back in! :joint:

mossy: I will try to get some photos for you tomorrow bud!! She's getting fat and saggy I had to tie some branches up recently!

orange: I'm trying, thank you :joint: Hitting a couple snags now as you'll read below, but I'm going to change many things next year. I need to rig up a small space for some bonsai mothers, maybe just 3-4, then I can really do some playing around next season :chin:.

I went to take a couple pictures this morning and discovered a few minor problems that made me put the camera down and deal with them. Unfortunately I had to leave for work so I didnt get to snap any, but tomorrow! Basically she's getting too wide! I had to snip a bud early tonight because it was pressed so hard against the house wall it was dying. Some of her lower colas have gotten almost TWICE as thick as before for some reason, I was surprised. Very very very very sticky.

A bit of bad news. Some powdery mildew spots on a couple dozen lower fan leaves. It seems to only be on leaves, and the spots are still fairly small so I think we caught it pretty early and pulled them. I also found a few caterpillars! They are no good, and hopefully I got them all. Have to wait until daylight to do a better inspection, but am unsure how to keep them away. :badday: Any suggestions are welcome here. Unfortunately the job I've been working recently has kept me away from her for most of the daylight hours, and she's punishing me for the neglect. I'll have to make it up to her!

Unfortunately we had a couple flash rain episodes tonight and it's supposed to continue tomorrow. I was going to cover her with some plastic for now but then it rained on her and I didn't want to create a big humidity dome :( So I will watch her carefully this weekend and make sure she gets dried out. Thankfully so far it's only been in very short episodes of 2-3 minutes, and only happened 2 or 3 times today, but the weather forecast looks bad. I'm hoping they are wrong!

Some more bad news... :badday:

The rain came hard in the night and lasted until morning. No pictures today folks, it's just too heartbreaking. She looked like a saggy wet dog! Soaked and weighed down, it was a devestating sight. Thankfully only 1 or 2 buds made it down to dirt-level, and I rinsed them best I could and propped up all the branches using bamboo and such after shaking as much water as I could out of her. I'm praying for the rain to be done so she can dry, and hopefully I won't have any mold problems.

Yikes! If I were you, I'd stake the branches out as far as possible so there's plenty of air flow between them. I lost almost an lb to mold earlier this year.

I use bamboo poles myself. This time round, every bud-yielding branch is gonna be staked up.
