The window plants are fine.
They are a lot taller and more sparse compared to the closet plant.

The media is soaked to the top, but the plants don't seem to mind.

The roots are covered in algae, but seem fine otherwise.
If the algae was smothering the roots and stealing oxygen and nutrients, the roots would have died off long ago.
I'm not going to mess with it.

I just keep checking the PH and PPM and keep them in range.
I water from the top to flush the media through to the reservoir, then adjust the PH and PPM in the reservoir.

Short and chunky girl there. That's a GLo right? See the Lowryder2 in that cross.

No, it's a Cookie Devil X Poison Rose.

I've grown the same strain before, and they were much bigger.

I think that this one is smaller because I had too much light at the beginning.

So next plant, I will try the same strain, and just use my ceiling lights turned way down at the start.

I can just stake the plant if it's really stretching and looking like it's going to fall over.

There's two Cookie Devil X Poison Rose plants and a GLo on the window sill right now and all those plants are much taller than my closet plant.

I'm pretty sure that it was too much light in the closet at the start that led to a short plant.

The window plants all grew quit tall and the biggest difference between them and the closet was a lot less light.

Meanwhile, I don't mind having a short plant at all.
I'm not after a 1 pound plant this time, I want a plant that is the same as the one that I really liked.

It was also a Cookie Devil X Poison Rose that was 19 inches tall as well.

I harvested that plant at 9½ weeks and this current plant will be 9½ weeks old around December 10th.

Good to see you back on track!

Yeah, I had a lot of false starts getting one to grow, but things are shaping up nicely now.

That's why I've got 3 window plants.
All the rejects got put into the window planter. lol

They're all really thirsty now and I have to water the closet plant twice a day. She's drinking about 3 liters a day now.

I've been doing really good with the LITFA for this batch of plants.

I almost felt like I was neglecting them.

But I kept them watered and kept the PH and PPM in the proper range.

I've got my routine figured out now about lighting and mixing up nutes, so it was a lot less time and effort to give them what they need.

My plants always do better when I just leave them alone.

I noticed that the PH didn't swing up wildly with the closet plant this time.
Perhaps because she is short and bushy?

I just fed her at about 5.7 PH and the reservoir never climbed higher than about 6.3

The window plants needed to have a bunch of PH adjustments.
That turned out to be quite easy.
I just watered from the top at about 5.7 then checked the reservoir and stirred in PH down until the reservoir was down to about 5.8
I had to do that several times.

I just ignored the algae growing.
It didn't seem to hurt the plants at all, but I would most likely have damaged the plant or the roots by trying to flush the reservoir.

The end is nigh. For your closet plant that is.

Yeah, the window plants are about 1-2 weeks older than the closet plant.

I think that I'm going to just let them grow until my closet plant is harvested, dried and jarred so that I don't end up getting the plants mixed up.

It's REALLY dry in the house now and I just love growing when it's dry.
The house is between 40% and 50% RH, and the closet is in the low 30's.

The closet plant should be able to be jarred after only about 4-6 days of drying, then I'll chop the window plants.

Looking good there mate, LITFA worked really well for you this time.

Thanks Frosty.

The closet plant is shaping up to be just like that plant that I grew last year that I really liked.
It was the same strain as my current plant, and exactly 19" tall as well.

I harvested that one at 9½ weeks, so I'm going to do the same with this plant.

It won't be a 1 pound plant, but it should easily last me until I grow another one the same.

I should even be able to grow another closet plant this year that will finish up before the humidity goes up in the spring.
