I got the ceiling fan installed,..
It turned to be quite easy. I just made the hole at the top of the closet bigger, and clipped the fan onto the piece of wood that was already there.

I turned on the ceiling fan and left the bottom fan off.
I did another smoke test, and there was nice flow in past the fan blades at the bottom, even with a bit of a dirty furnace filter and no heat or convection in the closet.

A wide angle picture of the closet.

Cool, its probably stainless, Al corrodes in salt water. EMT is electrical metallic tubing, basically, its conduit, and is zinc coated (for sure the zinc would corrode out into the soil once nutes are applied, bur no worries since its not.

It's not stainless steel, but it is stainless aluminum. Lol

I found this,..

I got marine grade aluminum mixed up with the Mag wheels on my car.

Magnesium corrodes really easily and needs to be coated to protect the metal.

These are my Mag wheels rotting on my parts car,..

I've never used antiperspirant, only deodorant. (except on my feet to stop sweating when I'm skiing ⛷in the cold.)

I don't mind sweating, I just don't want to stink. Lol

it's probably just me, I don't like metal in solutions of salts. I can't remember how many of my chrome coated conventional reels, anodized aluminum reels, and aluminum/chromed jigs got pitted from saltwater corrosion...so it's something I avoid if I can.

Keep in mind that calcium, magnesium, iron, molybdenum, copper etc are metals.

Metals combine with all kinds of things to make the salts we use.
let me rephrase, I don't like to put actual metals in salt-based nutrient solutions, so as to not introduce unknowns into the mix, which could make it hard to diagnose and correct should the need arise. I don't like to cook acidic foods in uncoated aluminum pots and pans also. But on the other hand, vinegar does wonders for removing mill scale...

Yeah, I get it.
I had a 2½ gallon aluminum pot that I used to cook spaghetti and potatoes in. I threw it out.

I had an aluminum lid that I threw out and tried to replace with a glass and SS lid but they didn't fit.

I took my aluminum lid back out of the garbage. I'm still using it today.
Lol

I drilled a hole in it so it doesn't spatter pork chop grease. Lol

I figure that the spattering pork chop grease coats the inside of the lid and seals it to to prevent aluminum oxide from getting in my food.
That's my logic, and I'm sticking to it. Lol
