If the armature shaft seizes inside the bushing, the bushing can start spinning between the clip and the bushing housing.

You could drill a small hole through bushing housing to squirt oil directly into the felt so that you don't have to take it apart to oil it.,..

All the motors that I remember from the early 80's had a hole for oiling the felt bushing.
The ¾ horse furnace fan motor had an oil access hole,..

New stuff isn't designed to be serviced.

It's designed to be replaced. It helps keep the economy rolling.

I see the felt now. The bearing is sintered, so a little porous.
I was thinking of having the lot out. Sprung retaining washer, felt, bearing/bushing, the lot. Then fit a roller bearing of some sort. Perhaps epoxy it in, so the glue can set after it's assembled. You might get one the original sprung washer can hold though. Troubling as that might be for alignment.

It would have to be dead to try it. It's a long shot.

Yeah, that might work.
I've got a bunch of skateboard bearings that might be the right size.
But like you said, I'll wait until it dies.

We'll see what happens with the planters.
I don't think that I have to worry about them.

:lurk: good luck buds

Peace :tiphat:

Thanks :thank you:

I think I'm good.
If the fungus gnats turn into a swarm, I can buy another Grub Grenade.
They can ship directly to my house during the spring and summer.
(the soil mites die if they freeze)

I am actually looking forward to this experiment.

I know that I've got fungus gnats, let's see if they turn into a plague. Lol

I don't quite understand the cartoon.

Are you saying that Blue Jays and raccoons are from Australia ?

I know that possums are marsupials and that they are the only marsupial in the Americas, but I didn't know about the Blue Jays and Raccoons ?

I have actually fed possums in my backyard.
They like peanuts and cheese slices too. lol

I do know that people in Ontario absolutely love their Tim Hortons coffee .

Tim Horton was a Canadian Hockey player that was killed in a car crash.

He owned a Coffee shop in Hamilton Ontario with his friend when he died.

And I found this info too,..

I think that is a carnivorous springtail?

It's quite large and runs around at about 40 mph. Lol

I read that if it moves fast, then it is a hunter on the prowel. The slow moving ones eat dead stuff that doesn't run away.

Either way, I think my planters are protected and I don't need to buy more soil mites ?

It's been 7 days of drying and my window plant is ready for trimming.
The branches would snap when bent.

I will trim the closet plant tomorrow.

I got 41.7 grams from the window plant, and with 56 Watts worth of SILs, so about ¾ of a gram per Watt.
Not too bad especially considering that my window plant is just an ornament.
lol

It has a nice sweet smell with hints of citrus, and the appetizing smell of 🐖 chops and fried 🍗. Lol

I'll be smoking this stuff myself.
I'm not 100% proud of it.
It's pretty greasy and full of 🐈 furr. Lol
