Yeah its like watching a slow motion car wreck in here but he misses the tree and just runs over the mail box. Its a testament to the resilience of this plant. Pc, you should order a good cut and see how it turns out just to take the seed uncertainty out of this crazy equation.

Lets be reasonable. Barely a page goes by where he doesn't say he is doing it wrong, or his own way. He tells us just what he is doing, and shows us exactly what is happening. There is no claim he is a master grower, or advice that we should follow him. When he says he is killing it, he is being quite literal. If people misinterpret that, more fool them. This is one of the most updated diaries here and there is stuff going on that nobody else is doing. If what you need is a grow tutorial, this isn't it. It's a decent diary of another brothers grow. Maybe we can do better, but so what. Where is our daily update. What do you actually get from knocking another brother down. A dead forum? It wouldn't matter if everything he did was wrong. We could still learn from it and help him along. Or you could just not look.

Anyone that updates their diary regularly and acts civilly gets my support. (though I do keep out of one, where I put a foot wrong. Socially)

Thats cute. but theres been plenty of times he says rh is irrelevant and he knows how to grow 10 pound plants so he doesnt need advice from anybody. This is a public forum if you dont want to interact with others just write it down in a personal journal. But dont come a public forum and say rh doesnt matter and the amount of light can be any extreme amount and no expect people to say anything back.

This is the only thread anybody posts on the micro thready anyway, I already gave up on mine. Dont try to jump on me for pointing out the obvious things f-e, now your derailing his thread....

Thanks Man !! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Domes seem to be working for you.
If the 440 feels dry, and your RH is so low there, it might be a good idea to get them off the stalk and into a more controlled environment. Perhaps little paper bags, in a bigger plastic bag full of air with a RH meter and a few splashes of water where needed.
What am I saying, it's just one plant. Forget the paper bags. Toss the lot in a flip top bin or something that can give you RH control. The aforementioned bag. Anything. Hold them around 60% if it's not too late. Rotate occasionally, which is easy in a bag. Flick in water if you must.

Good Call !!

I was trying my hardest to LITFA and wait the mandatory 10 days, but it was feeling really crispy so I took your advice and jarred it.

First a final weigh in...

That's 420 grams. Lol

I have Boveda packs to put in the jars but I want to see what the RH comes in at first to see if I missed my curing window...

Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_20220121_125046.jpg Views:	0 Size:	118.3 KB ID:	18049482

I'll give it a day or so to stabilize before I put in the Boveda packs.

And look what showed up in the mail today...

I'm pretty excited !!...

I've got a few experiments in mind.
I've got to get some Mentos. Lol

Tuck and roll !!
Just rub some dirt in it...

Its a testament to the resilience of this plant.

It's a weed.
There's only one way to kill it...

Nah...

I've still got at least 3 1/2 years worth of seeds left.

I don't think it's irrelevant.
I just don't think it's important enough to bother with.

I said 1 pound plant.

The RH is stabilizing but it looks like I'm going to come in too low for a cure.

Oh well...

It's better than coming in high enough for mold.

I Hate Humidity !!!
lol

Fabulous job. You were close to your previous record. For a single plant it's bigger than any auto I have grown.

Thanks ReikoX
It was your baby 👶

I was just a foster parent. Lol

But I did mess up with the PH and kinda threw in the towel to start over.

I watched this video and learned a bunch of things...

https://youtu.be/JwtkHxv_3pU

I realized that I had changed my grow media back in April or May and it is almost completely coco coir and perlite now.

The old media had lots of other stuff in it including worm castings, peat, and other organic stuff.

It was after the switch that I had problems and my PH went way up.

So I'm going to start feeding this next plant from the top with distilled water and nutes to bring down the input PH, then keep checking the runoff PH and PPM.

I think that's all I need to do to optimize this next grow.

And Dr. Bugbee verified that there is no limit to light input if you maintain the other parameters adequately.

And I've got space in my closet for more LED strips. Lol

f-e ...

Can you help me with some math ??

I want to find out my DLI in my closet.

I need a proper Quantum sensor to read my closet...

Click image for larger version Name:	Screenshot_20220121-035352_Amazon Shopping.jpg Views:	0 Size:	133.5 KB ID:	18049681

Yeah,... That's not going to happen. Lol

But I figure that I can roughly calculate the total number of photons going into my closet in a day by using the Luminous Flux rating on my LED strips...??

My strips put out 1200 lumens at test current, and I should be able to use that parameter to guesstimate the total number of photons going into my closet in a day.

I know that LUX is different than PAR and that PAR includes all kinds of frequencies that aren't included in LUX, but my LED strips don't have any deep reds or ultraviolets, so I figure that LUX and PAR should be close to the same in my case..?? Right??

So I figure that I should be able to calculate the total amount of light energy going into my closet per day, but I'm having trouble doing the calculations.

These numbers are really big and really small, but luckily, they are centered around green, which is also the center of the frequency response graph of my LED strips.

These are the Quantum sensors that I have been using, but I haven't been able to calibrate them.
And the units are in meters cubed not square meters.

lol

You might as well put a fogger in there to keep it 1000 percent humidity with a couple of 1000 watt hps with an 2 ton ac unit and just duct tape that bad boy shut for 3 months.DLI is really only important if you believe in vpd. But if your really into that stuff, it has to do with how strong a light your using and how many hours your using it to maximize the efficiency of your plant, but Ill let someone else answer hehe

F-that,.. More like a dehumidifier.
Humidity Sucks!@ lol

HPS ?
What century are you from?
It's all about LED now.
Get with the program...

DLI is really only important if you believe in vpd.

BS...
I'm going with DLI.
vpd can follow along and we'll check those numbers after the fact.

But if your really into that stuff, it has to do with how strong a light your using and how many hours your using it.

Yeah I know...
18 hours a day X 44 strips...

Plants are 100% efficient and effective.

It's we humans that are using only using 10% of our capacity...

Dr. Bugbee only mentions RH as a footnote.

Anything over 60% is just welcoming mildew.

Anything from 40%-70% is fine.

I prefer 33%.

I hate mildew and mold.

DLI is really All that's important.
