About 9 days left hanging in the bedroom...

I emptied out the media from my SIP container and removed the stalk and all the roots that I could find.
I didn't remove the clay pellets from the bottom half because there wasn't any roots going down that far.

This plant didn't have a very big root ball, probably because the plant was quite a bit smaller than the last plant.

I replaced the furnace filter again.

It was loaded with dust, mostly cat dander. It was a white powdery looking dust.

I started a new seed.
It's from my first batch of seeds because I'm afraid of those seeds going bad.

This is a bit concerning...

I don't think that I need to worry about it though.
It's probably just my cheapo hygrometers drifting because of the lower temperature.

Even if the actual RH is around 70, it's nice and cool in the bedroom, and when the AC kicks in, the RH drops by 3 or 4.

The plant was nice and healthy and has been able to fight off mold so far, so I think she'll be fine.

The seed is just about ready to be planted.

I don't want the tap root to get too long because I'm afraid of breaking it when I plant it.

I came up with a new plan.
I put my dehumidifier in my cabinet with the door closed.

That's better...
It's 10°C warmer which has an effect on my hygrometers, but I'm much more comfortable seeing 40%.

I don't really care too much about proper curing.

It's mold that's my biggest concern.

She's pushing up above the surface.

I really like starting new seeds. Everything happens so fast. You can see things change almost hourly.

I keep putting a drop of water on the shell to help keep it soft.

I may remove the shell again for her.

She's 3 days old and looking good.

The chopped plant has been hanging for 5 days now.
It feels nice and dry now, so I hung it back up in the bedroom.

I decided to make her do a few push-ups to toughen her up. Lol

I don't know much about pot plants or photography, but I think that this is a pretty damn cool picture...

She still has a bunch of white pistils, so I'm just going to let her keep growing and see what happens.

The original pistils have pretty much dried up and shriveled up.

I decided to nute my plant at 1/4 strength.
I know that you're supposed to wait until you've got two full sets of leaves, but she's almost big, and she is in un-nuted seedling mix.
(I reused the "soil" but dug a 3"X5" deep hole in the middle of the planter and filled it with seedling starting mix.)

I want her to start getting used to nutes and lights...

I think that I'm going to turn on the 3500k side lights dimly when she's got two full sets of leaves...

I won't turn on the 5000k side lights until she's in flower.

It's worked for me before with the same seed strain and I got a 400 gram plant.

I trimmed and jarred my plant.
I got 109 grams, so more than I was expecting.
(it's in a 1 gallon jar.)

I'll keep an eye on the hygrometers and probably put some Boveda packs in after the RH stabilizes to see where it's at.
