Man....i don't joke...buy spores of beauveria bassiana and/o metarhizium anisopliae
Search on google whar they do on insects and larvae.

I don't think that I need them. The gnats aren't that bad, and my soil mites would probably eat the spores.
They might just be expensive food for my mites. Lol

The high is scary intense right now. I've smoked a branch of one of my reveg clones and they are strongh9er of the mothers!
I'm wasted

I got in to my cannafudge about a month ago and ate way too much.
I freaked out! I was completely panicked and paranoid for over 3 hours.

I'm afraid of my fudge now.
I haven't had any since. Lol

My closet plant is doing awesome !!

She's looking really healthy and is stretching nicely.

I think I've got everything dialed in perfectly.

I've got 4 gnats stuck on the trap now on the window sill.

There's nothing in the closet.

Thanks Sampas :thank you:

She's 15 days old now since breaking through the surface.

I don't know how much genetics has to do with my stretch, but I've got my lights 90 cm above my plant.
The plant is seeing around 8000 lux. (according to my phone app.)

I'm pulling 72 Watts from the wall right now for my ceiling lights.

How much headroom do you have?

I know that I can have four 1' strips at 45 cm above the plant, running 36 Watts instead of my four 2 footers, and it is supposed to be the exact same difference, but I don't buy it.

I think it's better the way I have it.

All of this based on nothing but intuitive speculation though.

I've got nothing to really compare it to.

It's just a gut feeling.
It's working great so far.

In theory the light the way you have would be more dispersed, and the other way around i supose it should be a more direct and less boucing light.
About the headroom, since i have my cab divided in two zones, i dont have any headroom on the older ones and because of them i dont have any on the youngins too.

I like diffuse lighting.

I think my plant does too.

I've got the Panda Film to bounce the light around as well.

I don't care if I'm wasting 36 Watts.

I guess it's hard to verify, but I figure that if I didn't treat the window planters with some soil from the closet, I'd have a shit load of gnats right now.
It's hard to say though, but my diatomaceous earth isn't doing anything except making a mushy mess. Lol

Mosquito Bits or Dunks kills gnat larvae with a bacteria. Plus it also works on mosquitoes!

Do you give them names?

No, but I don't think this is their name...

"Stratiolaelaps scimitus - predatory soil mites to control fungus gnats, thrips pupae, root weevils, springtails, and more. Formerly known as Hypoaspis miles, Stratiolaelaps scimitus has long been the cornerstone for biocontrol programs of professional greenhouse growers ..."

There are more than 80,000 species of soil mites and I can't think up that many names. Lol

Even if I did narrow it down to a specific species, I've still got maybe thousands of mites.
Each needing a name.

That's still too many names to think up. Lol

Remember, if we ever take all our science and math to go live on Mars or the moon, we better take all 80,000 species of mites with us, or we will go completely out of balance.

I might consider buying a Grub Grenade in the spring, when they can deliver it directly to my mailbox.
Things are pretty frozen now and I don't want to go to the post office.

I dunno,.. I might feel bad about my new mites killing my old mites ?
And all those names lost and having to be reassigned. Lol

My cats got ear mites once. Fucking disgusting critters. They can stay here when we go to Mars, as far as I'm concerned.

My cat came with ear mites, intestinal worms, and fleas.

She was only 8 weeks old, so I couldn't give her flea drops.

I Googled how to clean her ears with mineral oil and a Q-Tip,... I gave her Worm Away for the worms, and gave her a flea bath every few days, until she was old enough for flea drops.

She did not like bathing... lol

She looks pretty pissed off about her bath, even though she's dry now. Lol

Yeah, no matter what she looks like, she's a cat.

She might be able to flap her ears and fly. Lol
