then if you are seeing small white hairs, even if very small, is a very good sign, with the new spectrum of light they will multiply in the coming days
its really hard to call from the blurriness, but you should see hairs in sets of 2, for each calyx there is 2 hairs to begin with. but keep in mind this may not always be the case
Pic of one of our shoots lookin lovely in the corner....
See if you can find the hairs... rkrone i see what you are talking about the hairs are coming up in pairs some of them seem like singles but its just my horrible photography one is usually not viewable...
Seedlings still no signs of sexxing...
today i ran out of bloom nutes which the plants have been taking to with no problem for the last week, im mixing a new solution today can i mix it for aggresive bloom?
mate, thats defenately a female from that new photo, congratulations.
How big are your seedlings? 2nd node? If so, they might handle the full strength flower nutes, watch for nitrogen deficiency though if it's low on N. Also they won't show signs of sex for a good 20 days of growth and sometimes longer, so I'd expect a little wait yet.
Couple pics of the main plant which doesnt seem to ever change becuase it is tied down... and a picture of our canopy from underneath and some LST
Baby seedlings grow up so fast! They are now 20 days old... and still not quite caught up to the canopy of the main plant but are tall enough to recive the light they need
This hair is tall and pointing straight up so finally i have a picture thats still blurry but at least clear enough to make out
Shoot with a zoom in thats a little unclear of some of our hairs.
I mixed the nutreints for agressive bloom, and ditilled water was 50 cents a gallon so i have backups for weaker solution if need be, as it is i still have the res filled with the weak bloom nutes so ill be adding to those for a quick trasition to the agressive nutes.
it starts to become agonizing to have to look at those nuggs forming everyday and not be able to smkoe them...my biggest peeve about being in between harvests is tht i have hydro nuggs in my closet but i have to get scammed by the locals just to get high off their "indo"...indo, try shitbro
This is not only my first grow but first time i have seen a plant, so all i am used to is indo stuff im overcharged for. Hopefully, even though these are bagseeds we will end up with something pretty good still...
i clipped a popcorn nugg this morning and let it air out for about 6 hours then threw it in the bong with some local....it was a treat, and only 19 days until harvest
I cant wait to sample mine... just take a popcorn nug and throw it into the one hitter...i love the one hitter
couple canopy pics
not much to see since yesterday, the plants shoots are all beginning to show hairs but not too much from yesterday
ok newb question time!!!
i have no c02 in there and i have no idea how much c02 it gets (the case is in a really small room where gernerally there are 4-8 people all the time, exhaling) so the only c02 it gets is from the air and poeple exhaling, should i add some method of co2 to my case? suggestions to which method?
theres some debate whether or not to continue using co2 into flower, but primarily it is used during the vegetative state of growth...to promote lots of shoots and sidegrowth...but since you are flowering i would just let it be. i havent used any co2 other than what is already available to the plants and im not complaining a bit with my yields
yeah i am happy just letting it be, i just got concerned cause i ran into some sources over the internet that say more co2 the better the yield, thanks rk (i think i just have a hankering to build something)
One of our shoots starting to show more hairs (also on the node beneath this one)
Seedlings signs of sexxing? I think the second one is skeptical it alsmost looks as if a leaf is just growing in and thats not a hair at all. the first one seems almost definately to look like hairs (which is really cool because this seed came from a diff bag)
again, congrats on the female, my plant that i have been supercropping and lst also just showed...and happens to be a bagseed female as well. i guess we can compare as the weeks pass.
you're right the first seedling looks female. The second needs a bit more time. 9 out 11 of my plants are showing pistils now
On the subject of CO2. I reckon that there's a fine line between creating the perfectgrow/greatest yield and going too far. CO2 is definately not necessary in my books unless you have a lot of plants in a room, light and nutrients are more likely to be the limiting factor to your yields.

(and loved the canopy shots btw this is one of my favourite threads)
hey thanks again for the help you guys and please feel free to post any pictures up on here for comparison or inspiration!
i've done a good job not gettin overexcited about things up until now i have 2 diff strands budddin my my first grow (of course both bagseed) but this is much more than i could have hoped for, that last plant can go either way as long as i am able to catch it if it goes male.
