Yup, no better partner to have help you with your grow...and you can enjoy the fruits of your labor together, which is always fun! ;)

Everything's doing great! I had my clones in small cups for too long, so only one Ice Cream and one Skunk clone survived. The Ice Cream is about a foot tall and growing extremely rapidly. The Skunk is still putting out pistils, but is vegging well too. The Satori is on its second leaf set and ready to transplant! It already has a very interesting aroma; unlike anything I've smelled yet.

I'm going to take cuttings of the Ice Cream and pop some more Satoris tonight.

I think I'm going to use two five-gallon Smartpots and run 3-5 plants (I'll pull the Satori males after they release a little pollen).

Everything is growing very rapidly indeed, and everything is very green thanks to all the good stuff I've been feeding and top dressing with!

Time to start traveling again. I took three Ice Cream clones; two wilted right away (within minutes of cutting them), but one looks great. Hopefully the first two perk up. No biggie though. The Ice Cream mom shot up 2-3" overnight and is just loving the light, water and organic goodness in the medium, so there is no shortage of branches to take clones from!

The Satori's first leaf set is 4-5" long in total (both leaves). The Skunk is doing well too. While the Skunk is good smoke, I don't know if I'll run it again! I don't have time to pop any beans now, but I'll flip light cycles in a couple of days and hope for the best. The Ice Cream clones will get some veg time under CFL while the 400W is burning in the tent. Still using the 250W MH for now.

The clones looked great before I left. Hopefully they are ok for ten days with the watering I gave them and the water in the tray underneath them! As soon as I get back, I will transplant them into the one gallons, switch out to 400W HPS and switch cycles to 12/12. I will most likely shut down my grow after I harvest these babies and start back up again in October. I don't feel like paying for all-day air conditioning in the spring and summer!

Got back and only two of the six clones had survived; transplanted them into 1 gals yesterday. The construction I knew was eventually coming almost went down without my consent when I was out of town...glad I got back in time! The guys had no idea they were working within three feet of a grow tent.

The Ice Cream clone I put in the five gal hit 2.5'...seriously rapid growth! I top dressed everything yesterday. I have to remember to wear a mask when mixing dry amendments; I'm all congested today and feel crappy. It's actually pretty dangerous to breath that stuff in and can cause serious infections. I'll make sure to mask up, mix carefully and wet the mix down before top dressing next time!

Heading out of town (yet again), but switched to HPS yesterday (and 12/12) after the work was done. Switched on all the LEDs too. Trimmed the Ice Cream down to around 18" and took another six clones.

Hadn't smoked in a few days, so I smoked some of the skunk. Tastes great after a good cure. Loaded with trichs too! I hadn't slept much the night before, and I ended up falling asleep in my chair for an hour. Going to restrict my smoking to after my work is done now because it's too easy to get baked and do stuff I want to do and procrastinate on what needs to be done.

I'll see if I can take some pics today, but the Ice Cream looks a lot less impressive now that I lopped off much of it's vertical height to even out the canopy. It kept trying to grow into the halide! On the plus side I should have some nice clones, so I can keep the pheno alive during the summer.

As it stands; one 18" Ice Cream, one 14" skunk and one 8" Satori. Two little, freshly transplanted Ice Cream clones too. Top dressed with all manner of goodies and watered through with organic blackstrap molasses (unsulphured). Since they're entering pre-flowering, I added guano and hops to the dry mix. I'll give them another good watering today, and then they get another two weeks on their own. Fingers crossed that the Satori is a female!

Well you didn't lose everything. Maybe next time youre on a extended trip you can run without the hid lights. Less light/heat = slower growth/transpiration. Just a thought. Or an auto system.

Actually I took more clones than I needed because I figured I'd lose some; I'll probably pop another Satori when I get back since I have space for one more plant in the tent!

The medium holds a good amount of water, but this is the longest trip I've taken since I started growing again, so I hope my Skunk doesn't dry out! Then again, temps are still low so I think they should be fine, and 12/12 means they stay cool for at least half of the day vs 24-hour halide. Fingers crossed! The new clones are under 24 hours of 50w of CFL so they should be fine.

I could have hooked up the fake Blumats though...doh! Could've, should've. I think they'll be just fine, aside from the Skunk, which may be on its last legs by the time I get back.
