The flower chamber has the 80 cfm whisperceiling in there...I have that chamber setup for a total of 28 cfl light sockets...However, because the 80 cfm can't suck that good I can only use about half that number before temps get too high....I really wanted to keep it stealth as that 150 cfm is around .3 sones...If I jump up to the 190 cfm the sound goes to 1.3 sones....Not sure how loud that would be.....I'm just thinking flower chamber is roughly 22 cf...should not a 150 cfm fan cool it ??? thanks again guys.

I have six 42 (43?) watt CFLs, two each in Y sockets.how many cfls, and what wattage are they ? also, what is you external temp ? thanks, SC
thanks for the info Iggy...man I am really on the fence here....that 290cfm is 2.0 sones whereas the 80 cfm is .3 sones....Now I have 2 pc fans and a wally world type fan in the grow box now....Those are louder than the 80cfm panasonic fan...But how much louder ? You can't hear them outside the box....Maybe I would be OK going with that 290 cfm in terms of noise?
That's a good price, I'm certain that size will work out for you.Yepp I just pulled the trigger for the 150cfm on ebay...been watching prices....it was newly listed....got it for $139 shipped....not a killer deal but not a bad price either.....I really couldn't wait much longer due to the fact I'm in the middle of a grow right now, lol
Also, I have no desire to undermine this thread, as it gave me tons of useful information, and was the reason I bought my whisperline fans, which I love. But, with that said, I can tell you with years of experience both ways, that if you truly need anything close to 100% smell/stealth coverage: buy a can filter, don't build this scrubber. This scrubber will effectively remove 75-85% of the smell, which is great for plenty of folks needs, but if you need true stealth, this scrubber won't do.
