I am looking for a pure landrace Sat from Panama or Colombia myself. I get excited when I see venders say Gold Colombian, or Panama red than I see they have Indica in the mix so than it isn't the real deal.
I still stand firm that the very best smoke ever was the Reds and Golds from the early to mid 70s coming out of Acapulco, santa Marta y Panama.
If anyone knows where I can get some similar seeds please guide me.

I think that Ace & Cannabiogen lines are honest inheritors of that tradition. They work hard to make it that way. They also offer landrace genetics from time to time from Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras & Mexico.

If you journey to Centennial seeds in Lafayette CO they have Rio Negro Colombian, which I'm growing now. It seems to be the real deal so far.

I would love to take a trip to Co. I should just ask a friend of mine pick them up there. I could punch myself for all those Gold seeds I dumped in the trash off my frisbee 42 years ago lol.
Rio Negro is a river in Colombia also a city near Medellin . The weather is not real hi but high altitude, the UV rays is one of the parts of the puzzle that makes that stuff special.

Harvested on November 1st, this girl finished with zero mold or mildew despite the wettest autumn we´ve had in a long time. She also survived having a tree fall on her during a tornado lol. Beast of a plant! Thankfully she had perfect weather for the last 2 weeks to mature fully. Smells of lemon and sweet, spicy incense. Very oily resin on this plant. Looking forward to making some hash.

I know it's a bit early (day 15), but can someone maybe identify my Panama fem 2016 edition pheno? :)

It had smell almost from the start a couple of days old, somehow pungent green, just a tad sharp, and dense old school good ganja smell, you can notice center of leaves have a purple hue, and it's darker green than other plants
(bottom left Oaxaca, mid most vigorous Queen Mother, right Oaxaca, and up mid next to Panama is SugarLoaf)

Edit, here you can see better that blueish purple hue, and its pretty stinky for its size. Anyone had such a pheno? I think I'm gonna call it HULK lol :D

Does someone know what pheno of ACE Panama (fem 2016 edition) I have?
It looks different from all other plants, it's the most dark green, has purple hue in the middle of leaves, and the leaves are thicker/fatter than other plants, also has some silver shining lines maybe trichomes on the them? :)

EDIT
This plant is special (for me at least) it looks like some mini palm tree lol

frankincense, ironwort and a really complex high

frankincense, ironwort and a really complex high

Hello to everyone. First of all it is of my understanding that we are talking about the green phenotype here.
i've noticed great similarity between two herbs' aromas, panama and ironwort. i never expected to see such terpene density as i did in this one and only cannabis plant i'm showing you, which was grown 100% organically under the hot Greek sun.
i'm so impressed with this herb for 3 main reasons.
the aroma bouquet while curing is getting stronger, as are it's lemon and frankincense flavors and aromas.
believe me this herb has left many cannabis connoisseurs mumbling in awe for it's unique frankincense and ironwort bouquet and it's smooth and pleasurable smoke.
the second one is the high. trully psychedelic, intense, long lasting, but not as clear-daytime sativa as described for the green pheno. it has a lot more of the narcotic-trippy effect after the second or third joint. it sounds like the perfect combination of charachteristics from the two phenotypes, and it trully seems like it happened.
the third reason i fell in love with this plant is its cultivation as a whole and it's incredible tolerance to all kinds of insects. she finished about November 15th outdoors with no problems whatsoever. my personal opinion is that what makes this plant so important and unforgettable is the alpha-pinene terpene, to which i believe it owes it's frankincense and ironwort aroma and it's extraordinary insect repellent qualities. i also assume that the local climate in combination with organic growing helped to express the finest quality of these amazing genetics. congratulations Dubi for this miracle!
There is no reason for me not to try this strain again.

Hey Dubi. Would you consider trying to isolate the purple phenotype again? I'm looking for some pungent smelling sativa and they're difficult to find. I'm hoping you have a suggestion of where to look.

I haven't grown it yet, but Leshaze from Dubi's friends at CBG is by all accounts extremely fragrant.

PCK x Panama maturing outdoors.

Another very interesting F1 hybrid we have found in the last 3 years exploring hybrids between our classic strains.

In this case, it's a F1 of the Old Purple PCK (2002), pollinated by Panama Goddess F10 (reversed).

Hi Boss Cocky,

I'm glad you rate your favourite Panama among the best you have grown

After deeply experiencing 10 Panama females and that good Tikal i think you have a good central american sativa menu to enjoy for the upcoming months ;)
Incense, lemon and vanilla are my favourite aromas in the line.

Thanks for your contributions to the threads.

Some awesome pics on the last page guys. I need to get myself a camera that doesn't have location data.

I got 10 females from my 12 pack of Panama. I flowered #'s 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 and 10 last time. I kept #5 and and it is in week 8 on the second rum, along with #6, 7 and 9 as well as two Tikal freebies (I ditched #4 as it was the slowest to root). Panama #5 was the best herb I've grown. #9 is shaping up to rival her and has a very lemony sent, as opposed to the complex fizzy fruits/Insense/pine/mint flavour of #5. Looking forward to harvest!
