Found something weird on my first Panama seedlings first cutting. All the nodes have a weird bulbous blob on them as in the picture. Is this a Panama trait or a mutation or something more sinister?:

It looks and feels totally natural like it's meant to grow that way and I've seen something similar on other types of plants before, just not on a cannabis plant.
How long would it take for the pistils to turn pink, assuming they will? Am half way through week 3 at the moment...
Edit:Wanted to get these up,busy as heck.Really impressed with how dense these long colas are, love the lemony smell, its wonderful.I have one ready to come down in about a week, with another a week behind that. Then I have one that at 70 days looks to have another 4 weeks or so to finish. Will get pics of the other three up soon.At about 6 weeks or so the Panama's were transplanted into 3 gallon pots. The first three all exploded in size of buds/colas,the long pheno stretched three to four inches above where the tops of the colas were forming. The long pheno is maybe twice the size of this plant and if it continues to fill out it will be crazy big. This is a remarkable plant and strain, stunning to take a Central American tropical and work it so that its very reasonable indoors. Most later on...
Nice Panamas Charles! I bought them on sale ...looking forward to try some Panama Red.
Were they under 600W bro? Do you think they could grow well in vertical?

A couple of quick thoughts on these gals.First,I let them go way to long.P2 went 12 wks and could have easily been pulled when I pulled P1 a couple of weeks ago.Ends up being heavier than I intended,my mistake as their quick maturity really surprised.I will know next time. With P2 when I did the pot size increase it gave another 3-4 inches and did not look done at all, lanky stretchy with mostly all white hairs.Put the scope on it and could not find any clears anywhere.I am going to run this one again as she is stinking huge given the fact that she was an immature seedling put into flower at under 30 days. The finished product would have been much better and given better results with a week and half to two weeks shaved off from its finishing time. Also the stretch is very very manageable so next time she will get a bigger pot in veg and we will see what she does.Still great smoke, she is wonderful,I know I can do better by them.
Note on finishing times: Found that ACE's estimates on weeks to finish to be pretty accurate.Had some sneak up on me,the Malawi's are all cloudy at 11 1/2 weeks. There were others that surprised with being done quicker than expected. Thanks to ACE for honest and accurate descriptions, well done my friends
-last two photos were P4
So I had a bunch of big beautiful panama gals outside that that I never saw into fruition because i live in a police state. I kept one girl at home because she was lagging behind the others so much in the spring. She must have seen into the future a disgruntled land owner destroying all her sisters and did a fake limp to save herself. I like plants with that kind of foresight. Here she is at about 8.5 weeks, looks like she'll be ready @ 10 :
Thanks for your kind of words, detailed reports and to take care so well of our genetics The last 2 panamas you have posted look very colombian like. The last one looks resinous and powerful
from the seedbou descriptionPanama seeds were specially developed for indoor growing, it's not recommended to cultivate them in outdoor gardens.
