I want to send a shout out to the red phenos in this line. Don’t over look them guys! They are golden. I know most people look for the panama goddess or the more clear uplifting effects of the green types in the line and those are great …. but the red phenos really have a lot to offer too …. which is why I ended up selecting a red pheno as my keeper which you all have seen me post about earlier in this thread.

Recently I shared a cut off my red pheno mother with member @Ncali and he grew it out and has recently started sampling his harvest.

Here is a few quotes from our conversation I thought I’d share (with his permission of course):

“Your panama is a bad bitch. Hits like a fucking hammer. Not experienced that from much panama hybrids haha”

“I'll keep her around haha, hits as hard as the golden tiger but way less anxiety. So.... she took that spot in my mother's stable”

“I'd still like to find a Panama goddess pheno, but yeah she's mas fuerte 💪

….. I see so many focus on the green goddess phenos I just wanted to give the red heads some love haha. Don’t over look them guys :headbange :headbange :headbange

lovely  always a pleasure to revisit your beautiful Panama Red selection!
Glad you are getting more familiarized with the qualities and real potency of her effects

Sativa lovers like me usually prefer the clearest effects coming from Panama Goddess offspring and the green Panama phenos, but the strong Panama red ones are a must to experience if you are serious into learn the whole picture of our complex Panama strain. And you are right, the strongest reds i have had can be equally strong and intoxicating as the strongest killler Malawis, in both cases it is usually not a good idea to mix them with alcohol, unless you have the tolerance of an elephant. And please don't drive under the effects of the reds.

Enjoy! ;)

Haha made my day! I've experienced the Panama also stronger as expected, it was definetely a favourite smoke of mine and many of my friends liked it too! They fell immediately in love with the fresh citric smells and the positive up high.. Was also my wife's fav outta my stash. I had only 3 reg. Bonus Seeds, 2 of them were female. One more compact and faster flowering,
the other more vigourous and more resinous, also flowered longer.
Stronger Terps on the fast flowering one.

The faster one:

I got 12 Panama x Bangi Haze seeds as bonus from my last order, I'm really looking forward to explore those, as I enjoyed the Bangi Haze's effects and terps a lot too.
Also, I saw some awesome pics of this cross...

Hey dear Ace growers!

I am having 3 panama cuts (from reg seeds, mothers are stored) in the flower tent (since c. 5 weeks) at the moment and was wondering if it is already possible to make an educated guess what type of Phenos I have here...
Cheers :) Felice

One of the three panama I have in flower now, about 8 weeks along - stem rub reveals lemon oil, earthy myrcene / kush-esque, effervescent mint and fruit

- I tried to show the structure but its a cramped tent, this one has more spacing between bud sites than the others, especially in the middle of the branch - but Its throwing these beautiful pom poms all over the place and the main colas are amazing to see in person. Lovey and very amazing and unique plants

Glad Panama has become a favorite at your home @Synthracer :smoke: your feedback, pics and support are much appreciated! The faster flowering has a flower structure typically found in the red expressions, while the other is Panama Goddess dominant. Enjoy!

Hi dear @Felice :) Glad to meet your 3 Panama girls! Could you describe the smells of each one ? With that info and more visual updates i will be able to identify better the expressions during second half of flowering.

This one is smelling like minty kush on the stem rub, it smells a lot like an og kush i grow … smelling a lower bud tells a different story. I rarely actually smell the flowers directly with my nose but I wasn’t getting much complexity off the stem rub. Got hit with a blast idk wtf it is but was delicious. Very sweet smelling reminiscent of honey and also fragrant like incense or perfume but almost smells like confection or cake … creamy smelling but not boring at all. I was perplexed when it hit me with a wave of “oh my that’s delicious “ that soon turned into wtf IS that smell … cant wait to see how she cures up!

The hook leaf has me in anticipation…

Little update from my Panamas:
They are filling up quite nicely even though in such small container 👌🏼
Smells are:
P2 mostly citric with green sour apple, reminds me of an apple tasting pheno of Panama D.C. that I once had
P3 and P4 both very tempting intoxicating smell of some sweet perfumy organic funk (maybe musky not sure)

Pics are first all 3 then always a pic as identifier which pheno the following 2 pocs display.

Happy Sunday

ehehhehe love the way you describe the creaminess, perfumey and incensey terpenes on your Panamas :) @chronosync In my experience with Panama, scents coming from stem rub rarely translate the same later to the smells of the flowers. How many weeks are they into flowering ?

Interesting finding! :geek: Variegation is quite rare to find in Panama genetics (very healthy and still diverse, not so inbred population).

Glad the terpene profiles of your 3 girls are also strong and suggestive ;) @Felice
Lower buds are starting to get ripe but main colas look barely at mid flowering.

Hi Dubi!

Thanks - that means it is that easy, P2 green pheno, the other 2 red? Or still too early to determine that? Anyway, I will try to give an update in some time again :)
Cheers!!

My two panama fems at about 7 weeks, they stretched way more than expected and ended up about 5cm from the light (LED), so they're getting quite burned.

Right Cola.jpg

They looked fine for about two weeks at that distance, and then started showing symptoms. I just installed a diffuser so hopefully that will help limp them along to the end? The colas were fattening up nicely but the light burn seems to have put a stop to that. One has the lemon candy scent everyone talks about, the other is still lemony but much earthier. A pic of a heavily burned leaf:
