Running 3 more of the original BD seeds..one turned out male..but I'll post the other two right now..still not sexed..
I'm trying to keep this thread somewhat updated..now that things have settled down a bit..keep checkin in..I'm going for big fat single kolas..

NK..That's my thoughts exactly..I don't run big light in flower..usually just the 400W HPS..that will change soon..wanna add a 600W HPS..
Anyway I try to keep the height down as much as possible for canopy penetration..and I hate lanky plants too..
The super cropping starts now too..probably shorty after they reach sexual maturity under 18/6 that seems to occur at about 30 days veg..
if lots of females I'll flip quick..if less I'll wait a bit

Gotta say the ADCW has matured with curing..man it smells much better and smokes real nice..the high is quick and bright then slightly narcotic..
I wasn't happy about it before..but when I'm wrong, I'm wrong..I've been sampling all weekend..I sided a bunch for hash..wish I hadn't so much..

Man, the coir keeps you busy with watering chores..just had to put that out there..Moving along..no others have shown sex yet..
The GDS BD are the main focus right now..they are beauts too..short fat & green..

I've had a busy week..logged in a few times, but found myself passed out on the couch shorty there after..classes started again..but there's always the weekend..
Yeah I'm an old guy that still goes to school..I think I've been in some sort of school my entire life..

TML16..I don't defile my own thread with jokes..just everyone else's..hehe..
they are on the move..this is one of the pay-offs for using fast draining soil..
It can be tricky not to get salt build up..basically I feed..then water only about twice..then feed..
The sun is usually just on the weekends from 1-5pm..if I'm home..but they really thrive in it..

GrowDoc..You gave me tools to become a much better grower than I was..
I've seen you go from a guy that helped a few patients..to a full fledged conduit delivering affordable high quality med beans..Hope GDS is doing well..
Might be time soon to grow some more of the GDS line..

twistedtree..A good sun whips any artificial lighting..and it's free..500W at 12 hrs is 6 Kilowatt-hrs..
6kW x 30days = 180kW-hrs per month with taxes about $20 a month per light and fan in flower..
Veg is about 9 kw-hrs a day(270kwh/mo)..so I'll use the sun when I can..plants seem healthier too..

Two more have shown their sex..GDS BD #1 is male..predicted that one..GDS BD #3 is female..and she's a beauty..
Been torturing the GDS BD #2 male..left in the shade outdoors..no water given by me..still doing good..but the node spacing is huge..
Might show a pic of what low light can do to the structure of the plant..the huge difference between it and a plant of the same age that was in good light..

I'll do a full update when I take some pics..I think Alfa BD #1 should show sex today or tomorrow..

I use Bud Blood at the flip..it's like a chemical switch that quickly brings on the bud sites..I'll provide the flower list later..keep it green Core..


Well it's been a day of sex showing..Alfa BD #4 looks to be male..Alfa BD #1 & #3 look to be female..Alfa #2 & #5 not showing..
#2 was the one I opened with my nails..she got passed by the younger plants..

Hey Packn Totally agree on the sun whippin' anything. And I'm loving that it's free. I think my plants at least doubled in size out on the porch, and they've only been out there for a few weeks. Not sure if it's the strecth or not, but hey...it's workin' for me. I'll start some new seeds alot earlier next year, see if I can get 'em to three feet. I think the ones I got now will probably only get to two feet. Well, not the runt, anyway. But then again, I might get surprised. 3 girls, huh? Gonna be some fat chicks, huh?

Sorry for the absence..I've been digging all day and school at night..I don't have to dig very often..my old body is beat right now..my lower back is done..
I'm on TML16's prescription for Mr GreenJeans..10 grams a day delivered via vape cannon..

Back to the plants..looks like Alfa BD #5 is female..two preflowers that look female but not open yet..Alfa BD #2 nothing still..
Not gonna wait too much longer..probably tomorrow or so I'll start flower..need to finish mid November..like to go 40 days veg..but that's okay..
When I flip I like to use AN Bud Blood..this stuff is expensive..but man it really turns on the flowers quick..
I'll flip um in the 1 gal pots..then in the first week get um in the flower pots..I'll wet the soil with flower nute mix while I mix and prep it..


They're gonna be fairly big when it's all over..this veg went very well..I've been super-cropping to control the canopy..
The ones I started a week late, directly in the Rapid Rooters, have pretty much caught up with the others..

Other than that and the Bud Blood it's pretty much the same..
