Heavy Rains!!!!!!!!!
My GG#4's are swollen, fat, dense, and stupid heavy already. I prob shoulve harvested yesterday... but cant till Sat.

Forgive me if you've already addressed this question but .... did you force flower that GG#4 to flower or are all GG nearly finished flowering?

Garden looks killer bro! You are going to have a great time this fall .... make sure you have plenty of drying racks and carbon scrubbers with a small dehumidifier to keep the rh in control

I cant chop till saturday so yes Toxsik...Im waiting 2 days more. Good sunshine the next couple days to dry em out. Im just abit worried about branches snapping from heavy buds.
Also worried about budrot setting in overnight. Its warm and humid and raining all day with very heavy rains at times.

Just went and checked on em. They are very mold resistant.
Getting Plump! They didnt look too wet, concidering the rains we've had.
There still fattening up and lovin life so Im happy if they're happy.

I feel the weed tasted better at week 6 1/2 when I put them outside than they do at week 8. I feel going from 12/12 inside, to 14/10 outside, may have harshened the flavor alot and made it more woody. I guess well see when they get a slow dry and cure.... but Im not happy about the light schedule change going to longer days. Even though I dont think they are revegging, I think their not finishing right flavor wise.

Ive been pushing ph balanced water through them because its from the river, to semi flush them. But since I have never gave them bottled nutes, the FFOF soil is still nutrient fortified and the water is helping them absorb more nutrients from the soil.
I usually push un-PH'ed tap water through them at a PH of 14.
This way the plant cannot uptake any nutes from the roots, and is forced to draw any nutes from the leaves.
I may flush them with a high ph tap water and see if that smoothes em out by yellowing em out good and fast by locking them out.

I dont want no woody-ass Glue. Thats not my style. Ill let em go as long as they need to finish right. Even if I have to pull a tarp every night and morning till week 11. I dont care. They're coming out right or its all BHO. The Glue should taste supurb. I sampled a 6 1/2 week bud and I could taste the possibilities of what it should be, when done right.

Hopefully its just cuz it was still abit wet when I smoked it and was only clipped about 4 days ago.
Ill get em to come out right. Un-PH'ed water for the last few days in the pen.

well.. one thing is . outdoors is always a little harsher then indoors.. theres more waxes and shit that the plant is creating to fight off the crazy sun in the sky lol.

I hope it all works out.. they looked amazing. . hopefully the taste and smoothness pulls threw man.

yup.. too many fucking issues this year on the indoors.. hoping the outdoors makes up for it .. or I might be quiting smoking for a few months till the next harvest!!!

^^ Exactly. I just smoked a bud that had been slow dried and its alot better. Guess its just because I quick dried it and smoked it abit wet.
Really strong meds. The strongest Ive smoked in years. Just gotta get that taste I know is in there to SHINE!

drying process also need time..
buds from microwave have bad taste.. but you get high...

No microwave. Had a fan blowing a gentle breeze on the bud 1/2 the time. It is dry enough to smoke in 4 days. I usually hang dry buds over a 7 day period.
I just needed some smoke for harvest day this weekend. Now I do.
Plus I picked those buds mid day. I usually pick at first light.
Some more flushing to get yellow leaves and it will be ready.

Going out today to flush real good. Im gonna harvest tomorrow morning or Sunday morning.
I smoked a nice bud that was slow dried over a 5 day period and it wasnt harsh and tasted pretty darn good.
I can tell that a 70 day harvested Glue would have a much more pronounced sour taste. MMMmmmmm......

I think the flavor will come around with the slow dry and cure. When I was young we would always quick dry the few grams we would get. I can still feel the burn in the back of my throat. Have fun harvesting.
