I would love to make it to the 10 th of October my MAC crosses are about done next weekend most

I have a Purple Diesel cross that is needing more time but did good outside in 2021
went thru a couple frosts and finished
I have a bit of rot on an island sweet skunk took a piece to see where it is at, sticky
as fly paper
now is when I start to sweat the load, smoking 10 grams of bubble hash is taking the
edge off

I cut a few pieces of Island Sweet Skunk and dried it on the dashboard of my car
cut out the rot, it is not bad but will be better
would rather throw away half a crop of great bud
not have a big harvest of crap
we work at this time in New York outside

An Update today is 09/23/2023
the dew here this morning was as heavy rain
my buds were soaked
very gray day here it may rain this afternoon
took a piece off one of the mac crosses to see where they are at looking like
they are starting to finish
need to setup my grow room up to dry weed
the water on the leaves is the dew
getting fat and sticky there is a sweet smell in the air
fall colors are starting here
getting frosty
if this plant can go until the end of October
be safe and enjoy the day

part one
Right now currently I am getting the remnants of that tropical storm it’s very warm rain
the same here I was out at 5:30 AM with my dogs and it was 55 with this wet damp
warm air not really rain
Just whacked down a sample from 5 different plants to see where we are at just in
case I need to chop the stuff down
they will dry in my drying room to test the setup over the week and test Friday
grow well and be safe

I’m formulating a plan of attack in my mind right now when it comes to harvesting

might need to plan for some adderallI was going to build a tumble trimmer
but I am too lazy I am a Network Engineer/Administrator we are rolling out an ERP system at
the Factory so my brain is a bit mush
just order a dozen trimming shears and will trim by hand I did 150 pounds of wet bud back in
2021 by myself so I have done it
start on a Friday at noon and trim until Monday at 5 AM to go to work, trim until it is done
I have not a clue of what I was thinking yesterday ate 400 mg of gummies and smoked 1.5 grams
of Yoda OG bubble hash
next thing it is 10 pm and I had been looking at seeds to grow inside for a couple hours
need to lock up the seeds
it is because I was in my grow room for the first time since May 5th saw lights
have a great day and stay dry

Today is 09/28/2023 and we are almost there and the trimming will begin soon
last Sunday took samples from 5 plants 4 indica leaning plants and a sativa leaning plant
they all were hung in my grow room with a 3850 watt electric hanging heater and a
30 pint dehumidifier (not running)
it is about 72 - 74 F and 62 % RH so yesterday stuff had a smoke-able dryness The Sativa
cross needs more time should be done next Friday 10/6 or so The MAC crosses may
come down this weekend
The Mr.Clean x MAC Brass City Genetics was so good smoked a quarter of a joint and after
30 minutes or so remembered to light it again
some photos from yesterday we are close

the bud is as hard as a rock very very little rot for the dampness
hits hard like a hammer, I will grow this again
took down the plant tonight will post photos tomorrow it is hanging in my room with
most of the leaves off the branches
now it is time to smoke weed and drink IPAs to get ready to work I have three more Indicas
to take down this weekend

I have two in the ground the purple diesel will need 2 or 3 more weeks
the MAC crosses did very well for being hard as a rock bud, I have found a touch of bud rot

Are you hanging branches? buds? or entire stalks ?
Branches and stalks at this time
buds are pretty much trimmed on the stalks, just need a bit of touching up after drying
three are done and a quarter of the fourth one is done
leaves two plants in the field to finish
this is the first one I took down

had Powdery Mildew for about four or five weeks, was not hurting the plant so I did not spray
do not see any damage

plant two island sweet skunk x holy goddess not doing as well with the bud rot
took four random stalks to see how much rot will trim them tonight still lots and lots
of good buds
just want to be sure it finished to my liking

I’m starting by removing bus from the plants , giving them a light trim , and then stuffing them in the hang drying hampers …that’s my first plan of attack
