Today is 3/19/2024 I have been running my lights 18/6 with the lights running

during the day

I will be going to 14/10 for 3 days and start running my lights at night the days will get warm

easier to heat during the day and cool at night

I will probably give them 36 hours of darkness toward the weekend and put them on

12/12 for 3 or 4 days and see if that helps bring out the males

one of my Sweet Tooth # 4 is a female only 39 more plants to go we are getting

there another 43 days and plants in the ground WooHoo!!!

I will also let them dry out well appears the plant thinking it is going to die also

brings out the males

it was cold the wind was gushing as 60 but nice to have the mud frozen

just set my timers to turn the lights on at 3 pm and off at 5 am for a

14 hour lights on

Saturday the lights will go out for 36 hour coming back on Sunday night at 5 pm

for 5 pm to 5 am 12/12 days

next Friday back to 14/10 3 pm to 5 am should have them sexed out

after that

need to get thing potted up and need room

be safe and grow well

I just gave that a thought as I saw alternating nodes on some of the GMOxs

I also believe I see a male on one of the Double Grape OG hopefully these are not

autos as they will be hating the trimming

I will cut some clone of the Durban Poison as they are feminized

they need a bit more age but in the past I have cut clones marked them an run the cloner

light at 12/12 or 10/14 to sex them and not the plant

I will put up photos later as I have a bit of space for now after cutting off 50 % of the growth

grew some of their autos that did well

Devil's Punch is theirs and I have a Durban Poison from a Pollen Chucker

feminized looks like all the others I have grown

spoke a bit too soon on that wind blowing snowing overnight and 12 F here

so still need to run the heater for awhile I am thinking

today is 3/21/2024 first day of spring and it is sub zero here in New York

my heater in my room was pulling way too much juice and tripped a breaker

replaced it with a smaller one that ran none stop

went to the farm store on the way to work picked up one and jetted out at noon with the replacement

Today is 3/23/2024 and I have six inches of snow on the ground with more to come

now it is freezing rain

so winter is back until Tuesday when it will be 60 f

after changing my lights from running in the day to running at night and from 18/6 to

14/10 for 3 days

the light went off at 5 AM and will come back on at 5 PM Sunday for 36 hours of darkness

12/12 until Friday

This should get the males out and I can up pot my females, the lights will go back to 18/6

I will cut them back to match outside over the month of April

first time I have been in the room with no lights running I have a 4 foot shoplight running

over the breaker box all the time

I hope all the blue LED panels and red rocker/pilot lights do not give me Hermies


grow well and live

Everything looks nice man. Much respect to you. I had to laugh when you talk about the power company I got in the hole with them over four grand last winter before I knew it even after was paid off they kept sending me estimated bills I don’t trust them one little bit.

all my equipment has panels that tell me the watts, amps and keep track of the Kilo-o-watt

never would trust NiMo before the digital meters I would read the meter and call it in

as they wanted to guesstomate my bill

a side note my bill has gone down with the switch to leds about 120 US$ a month to

cover the same real estate

like florescence lights two inches from the canopy

when I did grow inside and was running 5500 watts of HIDs some bills almost gave me a heart attack

I may do an indoor flower run on the way go the door

I have up to about 600 watts over a 5 foot by 5 foot I hate to bin plants I could flower just because

Aunt Kathy is an asshole about growing

I have used Peters forever and have liked it a lot

but it has always given me a green that has not really moved me

I was posting with a grower last spring somewhere and we have posted back and forth

since 2001 on many boards that have come and gone

he like me comes from the greenhouse trade and we were raised on WR Peters and Jack’s Classic

I was checking a grow of his out and saw the beautiful emerald green his plants were

and had to ask him what he was using

he said this is what he is using start to finish and loving it inside and out

I used it outside start to finish in 2023 but when I started flowering I did hit them with

Monopotassium phosphate MKP 0-52-34 and also as seedlings

I like to water them in with it when I put them in ground the 0-52-34 is good for roots

whatever works for you is best

I know as hard as I whacked my plants with it if it was Jacks/Peters with their Urea based

nitrogen

my plants would have burned, the leaves were showing black veins/leaves a couple plain water

drinks and they bounce right back to be fair I used it more outside just started using for real inside

this spring
